<p><strong>Role: PEGA Developer</strong></p><p><strong>Duration: 6-12+ months Temp To Hire</strong></p><p><strong>Location: Tampa, FL (fully onsite)</strong></p><p><br /></p><p><strong>Roles/Responsibilities</strong></p><p>• Executes standard software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting</p><p>• Writes secure and high-quality code using the syntax of at least one programming language with limited guidance</p><p>• Designs, develops, codes, and troubleshoots with consideration of upstream and downstream systems and technical implications</p><p>• Applies knowledge of tools within the Software Development Life Cycle toolchain to improve the value realized by automation</p><p>• Applies technical troubleshooting to break down solutions and solve technical problems of basic complexity</p><p>• Learns and applies system processes, methodologies, and skills for the development of secure, stable code and systems</p><p>• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 7+ years applied experience in PEGA</p><p>• Working experience on projects in JAVA</p><p>• Demonstrates understanding of overall software skills including business analysis, development, testing, deployment, maintenance and improvement of Software</p><p>• Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with one or more modern programming languages and database querying languages</p><p>• Proficient in Pega development as well as multiple design techniques</p><p>• Working proficiency in Pega toolset to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software</p><p>• Good understanding of PL/SQL</p><p><br /></p><p>Proficient in application development skills for more than one technology as well as multiple design techniques</p><p>§ Working proficiency in development toolset to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software</p><p>§ Strong understanding of Agile methodologies with ability to work in at least one of the common frameworks</p><p>§ Strong understanding of techniques such as Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Test Driven Development, Cloud Development, application resiliency and security</p><p>§ Proficiency in one or more general purpose programming languages</p><p>§ Working proficiency in a portion of software engineering disciplines and demonstrates understanding of overall software skills including business analysis, development, testing, deployment, maintenance and improvement of software</p><p><br /></p><p><strong>Additional Skills</strong></p><p>PegaSystems software development, v8.4 or higher</p><p>Java</p><p>PL/SQL</p><p><br /></p>
