Dynamics Developer

<p><strong>Job: Dynamics Developer (812144)</strong></p><p><strong>Location : 1401 East Broad Street, Richmond, VA - 23219</strong></p><p><br /></p><p><strong>The first two months we need them 4 days a week in office, after that once a week.</strong></p><p><br /></p><p>VDOT is seeking a Senior Dynamics 365 Developer. The ideal candidate will be skilled and experienced in Microsoft’s Power Platform, to include Dynamics 365, PowerApps, Power Automate, Power Pages, Dataverse.</p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>· Expertise in Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement – Dynamics 365 Customer Service module.</p><p>· Demonstrated experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 customization, configuration, development, deployment, and usage.</p><p>· Aid in the requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, design, configuration, implementation, testing, and support of Microsoft Power Platform solutions.</p><p>· Design, develop new web components using .NET, SQL, Azure, Power Platform (Dynamics 365, Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse) and C#.</p><p>· Strong experience with troubleshooting and remediation of technical issues Dynamics 365 issues; document solutions, and work with system administrators and other IT resources to implement fixes.</p><p>· Strong knowledge of Microsoft’s licensing model for Dynamics 365 and Power Platform.</p><p>· Adhere to best practices when implementing business solutions and define/refine a governance approach for the platform’s use at VDOT.</p><p>· Develop and disseminate documentation (requirements, recommendations, technical analysis, etc.) on platform usage.</p><p>· Prepare mockups/prototypes based on requirements and use knowledge of Power Platform features/tools to offer solutions that meet business needs.</p><p>· Function as a liaison between IT and the business units; serve as a point of contact for issue logging, tracking, and resolution.</p><p>· Assist customers in discerning between Dynamics 365/PowerApps/Power Automate and other technology offerings when gathering requirements; identify efficient solutions and recommend alternatives to meet business needs.</p><p>· Contribute to improving our processes and policies within the Business Enablement Services program.</p><p>· Preferred Experience with Devops in Power Platform (Power Pipelines/ALM Accelerator)</p><p>· Other duties as assigned.</p><p><br /></p><p><strong>Professional Experience:</strong></p><p>· Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.</p><p>· Logical, clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.</p><p>· Ability to work seamlessly within a team as well as manage individual tasks.</p><p>· Ability to react quickly to a fast paced, rapidly changing environment.</p><p>· Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.</p><p>· Independently perform a variety of complicated tasks.</p><p>· Work with a team of Developers and System Engineers.</p><p>· Communicate clearly and effectively, both speaking and in writing.</p><p>· Review &amp; refine existing processes to better align with agency/group priorities.</p><p>· Review the existing procedures and propose, execute, and/or direct necessary changes.</p><p>· Participate in on-call duties as necessary.</p><p>· Be able to work–from-home and still provide expected level of support.</p><p><br /></p><p>Be available to support after hours work as needed.</p><p><br /></p><p>Experience as a D365 Technical Lead Required 5 Years</p><p>Experience with creating and managing of solution using Dynamics 365 Customer Service. Required 8 Years</p><p>Experience with customization and implementation of Forms, Views, Plug-Ins, Workflows and BPFs in D365 Required 8 Years</p><p>Custom development experience using .Net, JavaScript and C# Required 5 Years</p><p>Experience with Power Platform and Dataverse Required 3 Years</p><p>Experience with using standard &amp; premium connectors with PowerApps and Power Automate Required 3 Years</p><p>Experience with DevOps in Power Platform/D365 Environments Desired 2 Years</p><p>Experience with Data Integrations and Migrations using ADF &amp; SSIS Packages Desired 5 Years</p>
