This role partners with Product, Engineering, Research, and Business teams to design solutions that balance customer needs, business goals, and technical requirements.</p><p><br /></p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Design end-to-end user experiences from discovery through production-ready designs.</li><li>Create information architecture, user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.</li><li>Design scalable solutions for dashboards, forms, navigation, tables, and data visualizations.</li><li>Validate designs through research, usability testing, analytics, and customer feedback.</li><li>Contribute to and evolve the MetLife Design System.</li><li>Partner with Engineering to ensure high-quality implementation and conduct design QA.</li><li>Apply accessibility and inclusive design best practices to meet WCAG standards.</li><li>Identify edge cases, error states, and alternative user scenarios.</li><li>Leverage AI-powered tools to accelerate research, ideation, prototyping, and documentation.</li><li>Collaborate across Product, Engineering, Research, and Business teams to build alignment and drive solutions.</li></ul><p><br /></p><p>Required Qualifications</p><ul><li>5 years of experience designing responsive web applications.</li><li>Experience designing and shipping B2B digital products.</li><li>Strong skills in user research, journey mapping, information architecture, wireframing, prototyping, interaction design, and usability testing.</li><li>Experience designing dashboards, workflows, forms, and data-rich experiences.</li><li>Experience designing accessible digital products and applying WCAG standards.</li><li>Experience working within established design systems.</li><li>Advanced proficiency with Figma.</li><li>Experience using AI-powered tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, Figma AI) to enhance UX and UI workflows.</li><li>Understanding of AI-assisted experiences and responsible AI principles.</li><li>Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.</li><li>Experience working in Agile environments and applying Lean UX practices.</li><li>Ability to manage ambiguity, competing priorities, and work independently.</li></ul><p><br /></p><p>Preferred Qualifications</p><ul><li>Experience designing within a large enterprise environment.</li><li>Experience building or managing design systems.</li><li>Service Design experience.</li><li>Experience designing AI-powered products, copilots, or conversational experiences.</li><li>Front-end development experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.</li></ul><p><br /></p>
