Senior Java Developer

<p><strong>Project Description:</strong></p><ul><li>Development of a margin calculation platform for one of the Top Investment Banks.</li><li>The project team is lean and agile and is distributed across the UK, Tampa, New York and Warsaw.</li><li>We're looking for a Java Developer for our margin terms and workflow management system built with a Java-based technology stack on the backend and Angular frameworks on the frontend.</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Developing and delivering backend application components on time and with high quality;</li><li>Proactive involvement in the global development process;</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><strong>Mandatory Skills Description:</strong></p><ul><li>Strong knowledge and 6+ years of experience in the full life-cycle of software development processes, including data analysis, architecture design, coding and testing;</li><li>Proficiency in Java, with a good knowledge of its ecosystems including Spring, JMS, JPA (Hibernate);</li><li>Ability to work independently without supervision in a global environment;</li><li>Upper-intermediate English, good communication skills;</li><li>Knowledge and experience in databases (Oracle preferred, MSSQL/Sybase OK)</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><strong>Nice-to-Have Skills Description:</strong></p><ul><li>Familiarity with build tools such as Maven;</li><li>Familiarity with continuous integration;</li><li>Understanding of REST and its best practices</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><strong>Languages:</strong></p><ul><li>English: B2 Upper Intermediate</li></ul>
