Senior Java Developer

<p><strong>Project description</strong></p><p><br /></p><p>Development of margin calculation platform for one of the Top Investment Banks.</p><p>The project team is lean and agile and is distributed across UK, Tampa, New York and Warsaw.</p><p>We're looking for a Java Developer for our margin terms and workflow management system built with Java-based technology stack on backend and Angular frameworks on frontend.</p><p><br /></p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><p>Development and delivering backend application components in time and with high-quiality;</p><p>Proactive involvement in the global development process;</p><p><br /></p><p><strong>Skills</strong></p><p><strong><em>Must have</em></strong></p><ul><li>Strong knowledge and 6+ years of experience in the full life-cycle of software development processes including data analysis, architecture design, coding and testing;</li><li>Proficiency in Java, with a good knowledge of its ecosystems including Spring, JMS, JPA (Hibernate);</li><li>Ability to work independently without supervision in global environment;</li><li>Upper-intermediate English, good communication skills;</li><li>Knowledge and experience in Database (Oracle preferred, MSSQL/Sybase OK)</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><strong><em>Nice to have</em></strong></p><ul><li>Familiarity with build tools such as Maven;</li><li>Familiarity with continuous integration;</li><li>Understanding of REST and its best practices</li></ul>
