The firm has hired steadily this year, has very low turnover, and invests in training its engineers. This is a chance to join a stable, growing group and build your career on a steady pipeline of commercial projects across New York City.</p><p><br /></p><p><strong>What You'll Do</strong></p><p>Design HVAC systems for commercial, residential, and mixed-use buildings in NYC</p><p>Perform heating and cooling load calculations and select equipment</p><p>Lay out ductwork and hydronic piping systems</p><p>Produce clear, accurate construction drawings in Revit and AutoCAD</p><p>Make sure designs meet the NYC Mechanical Code, Energy Code, and ASHRAE standards</p><p>Work with the electrical, plumbing, and fire protection teams to coordinate designs</p><p><br /></p><p><strong>What We're Looking For</strong></p><p>Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field</p><p>2 to 3+ years of HVAC design experience with an MEP consulting firm</p><p>Hands-on experience with Revit MEP and AutoCAD</p><p>Familiarity with load calculation software such as Carrier HAP or Trane TRACE</p><p>Working knowledge of NYC codes and ASHRAE standards</p><p>Someone who works efficiently, takes pride in the quality of their drawings, and wants to grow with one firm for the long term</p><p>Nice to Have</p><p>EIT or FE certification</p><p>Experience on NYC commercial or multifamily projects</p><p><br /></p><p><strong>Why This Role</strong></p><p>Join a team that's growing, with new seats created by expansion, not turnover</p><p>Internal training and mentorship to keep sharpening your design skills</p><p>A results-driven culture where you're trusted to own your work once you're up to speed</p><p>On-site to start, with hybrid flexibility available after your first few months</p><p>Competitive salary, with flexibility based on experience and skill set</p>
