<p><strong>Power BI Developer - $35-$50/hr.</strong></p><p><strong>18-month contract – Hybrid in San Diego area</strong></p><p><br /></p><p>We are seeking an experienced <strong>Power BI Developer</strong> to support the design, development, and delivery of enterprise reporting and analytics for a large-scale ERP implementation. The developer will work closely with functional and technical teams to translate business and reporting requirements into intuitive, accurate, and high-performing Power BI solutions using data sourced from Snowflake.</p><p><br /></p><p><br /></p><p><strong>Required Skills &amp; Experience</strong></p><ul><li><strong>2+ years of hands-on Power BI development experience</strong>, including:</li><li>Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service</li><li>Data modeling and development of semantic models</li><li>DAX measures and calculations</li><li>Power Query / M for data preparation and transformation</li><li>Report and dashboard development, including drill-downs, filters, and interactive visualizations</li><li>Row-level security and role-based reporting</li><li>Performance tuning and optimization of datasets, models, and reports</li><li>Publishing, workspaces, deployment, refresh scheduling, and lifecycle management</li><li><strong>2+ years of experience with Snowflake</strong>, including SQL development, querying, views, and working with enterprise data models.</li><li>Familiarity with <strong>ERP business processes and data</strong> within one or more of the following areas:</li><li>Finance / Accounting</li><li>Procurement / Supply Chain</li><li>Human Resources / Payroll</li><li>Experience translating business requirements into reporting and analytics solutions.</li><li>Strong data validation and reconciliation skills with a high degree of <strong>attention to detail</strong>.</li><li>Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple reports, requirements, and priorities.</li><li>Ability to work collaboratively with business analysts, functional SMEs, data engineers, and project stakeholders.</li><li>Demonstrated <strong>innovation and problem-solving skills</strong>, with an ability to identify better ways to present, analyze, and use enterprise data.</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><strong>Preferred</strong></p><ul><li>Experience developing paginated reports using Power BI (formerly SSRS Report Builder).</li><li>Experience supporting an ERP implementation, modernization, or legacy reporting migration.</li><li>Experience developing reports against complex financial or operational data.</li><li>Understanding of reporting governance, testing, documentation, and production deployment practices.</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><br /></p>
