Computer Aided Design Designer

<p><strong>CAD Designer </strong>($22-34/hr)</p><p><br /></p><p>We are looking to hire a CAD Designer to work for a prestigious manufacturer near North Syracuse, NY.</p><p><br /></p><p>This is an excellent opportunity to join an established, growing organization and support a fast paced engineering and sales environment.</p><p><br /></p><p><strong>Company Profile:</strong></p><ul><li>Established manufacturing company with an excellent reputation and international presence.</li><li>Fantastic benefits package featuring low-cost, top-tier medical and dental coverage, 401(k) match, profit sharing, and generous vacation and PTO.</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><strong>Duties include:</strong></p><ul><li>Create and update accurate 3D models and 2D CAD drawings for custom engineered systems, custom equipment, and standard mechanical designs.</li><li>Work closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Sales, Marketing, and Project Management to complete drawing requests accurately and on schedule.</li><li>Maintain CAD files and engineering data within Autodesk Vault using established folder structures and naming standards.</li><li>Develop intelligent models and drawing tools to reduce drawing/document creation time and improve efficiency.</li><li>Support continuous improvement initiatives by incorporating internal and external customer feedback and identifying opportunities to improve CAD processes.</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><strong>Education and Experience:</strong></p><ul><li>AAS degree, CAD Certification, or B.S. degree preferred.</li><li>3+ years of parametric modeling / CAD experience preferred.</li><li>Experience with Autodesk Inventor preferred.</li><li>Strong communication and problem solving skills with excellent attention to detail.</li></ul><p><br /></p><p>For immediate consideration submit your resume to [email protected]</p><p><br /></p><p>Sapphire Recruitment is an EOE</p>
