<p>C++ Software Engineer – Low Latency</p><p>Salary: $180k - $270k</p><p>Total compensation: flexible – based on experience and seniority</p><p><br /></p><p>A leading <strong>quantitative trading firm</strong> is expanding its technology team in <strong>New York</strong> and is looking for a talented <strong>C++ Software Engineer</strong> to work on high-performance systems supporting global trading strategies.</p><p><br /></p><p>This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team and work on technically challenging problems where <strong>performance, scalability and microseconds matter</strong>.</p><p><br /></p><p>The Role</p><ul><li>Build and optimise <strong>ultra-low-latency C++ systems</strong>.</li><li>Develop high-performance infrastructure for real-time trading.</li><li>Work across <strong>C++, Linux, networking, memory and concurrency</strong>.</li><li>Collaborate closely with traders, researchers and engineers.</li><li>Improve system performance, reliability and scalability.</li><li>Help build and scale technology within a growing New York team.</li></ul><p><br /></p><p>What We’re Looking For</p><ul><li>Strong <strong>C++ and Linux</strong> experience.</li><li>Experience with <strong>low-latency or high-performance systems</strong>.</li><li>Strong knowledge of <strong>multithreading, concurrency and performance optimisation</strong>.</li><li>Background in networking, distributed systems or systems programming is a plus.</li><li>Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for challenging technical problems.</li></ul><p><br /></p>
