<p><strong>Senior Analyst - Cashflow Data Scientist</strong></p><p><strong>Miami (Hybrid)</strong></p><p><strong>Circa $140,000 + Bonus</strong></p><p><br /></p><p>I'm partnered with a profitable fintech lender that has built one of the most extensive SMB cash flow datasets in its market.</p><p><br /></p><p>They've invested heavily in connected-account data and now sit on millions of bank transactions across funded merchants, declined applicants and broader prospect populations. The challenge? They're only scratching the surface of what's possible.</p><p><br /></p><p>They're looking for a Senior Analyst or Data Scientist to become the internal expert for transactional/open banking data and drive projects spanning credit risk, marketing and pricing:</p><p><br /></p><ul><li>Marketing and Pre-Approved Offers</li><li>Credit underwriting enhancement</li><li>Pricing optimisation</li><li>Portfolio monitoring &amp; early warning systems</li><li>Growth analytics</li><li>Proactive renewals and Credit Line Increase</li><li>AI-enabled analytical workflows</li></ul><p><br /></p><p>This isn't a reporting role. You'll partner directly with senior leadership to answer questions such as:</p><ul><li>Which merchants should we be approving or approving faster?</li><li>Which portfolio segments are deteriorating before losses emerge?</li><li>Where are we mispriced?</li><li>What signals can drive growth that competitors are missing?</li></ul><p><br /></p><p>What we're looking for:</p><p>✅ 2+ years working with Plaid, open banking or transactional banking data</p><p>✅ Strong SQL and Python</p><p>✅ Experience building features from transaction-level data</p><p>✅ Analytics experience within lending, fintech, credit, risk or adjacent sectors</p><p>✅ Ability to translate analysis into commercial decisions</p><p><br /></p><p>Nice to have:</p><ul><li>Small business lending</li><li>Machine Learning</li><li>Portfolio monitoring</li><li>Credit analytics</li><li>AI/LLM tooling experience</li></ul><p><br /></p><p>The hiring manager is specifically interested in people who have used transactional data creatively, not just for risk, but also for growth, sales enablement and customer intelligence.</p><p><br /></p><p>If you've worked with Plaid, Yodlee, DecisionLogic, MX, Finicity or similar datasets and enjoy turning messy financial behaviour into actionable business decisions, I'd be keen to speak.</p><p><br /></p>
