<p><strong>Customer Support Specialist</strong></p><p>This is an excellent opportunity to launch your career with a leader in their industry. Our client seeks a high-achieving, Customer Support Specialist to join their creative and dynamic organization.</p><p><br /></p><p>You will support the team by managing internal customer inquiries and providing timely, professional assistance.</p><p><br /></p><p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p><ul><li>Provide exceptional customer service via phone and email</li><li>Handle inbound customer inquiries in a professional and timely manner</li><li>Communicate clearly and effectively with customers, maintaining a friendly and articulate tone</li><li>Listen actively with patience and empathy to understand customer needs</li><li>Provide accurate information regarding benefit plans, services, and logistics</li><li>Respond promptly to customer questions and resolve issues efficiently</li><li>Maintain and update customer information using databases and internal systems</li><li>Utilize Microsoft applications and other tools to document and track interactions</li><li>Demonstrate strong typing skills (minimum 25 WPM) for accurate data entry</li><li>Access, manage, and report on data to support service quality and performance standards</li><li>Ensure all interactions align with company policies and high-quality customer service expectations</li></ul><p><br /></p><p>This is a 9-month contract opportunity in the Vancouver area with possibility of extension or direct hire. <strong><em>You will be working on-site 5 days per week, first shift hours 5:30 AM-2 PM.</em></strong> If you do a great job, you can apply to an internal positions throughout the company at the end of the contract period. Options include 401k with up to 4% match, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short and long term disability, critical illness, hospital indemnity, accident coverage, and both Medical and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts.</p><p><br /></p><p><strong>REQUIRED SKILLS:</strong></p><ul><li>Minimum of 6 months of experience in customer service, preferably call center environment</li><li>Experience supporting internal teams in a customer service environment</li><li>Strong attention to detail with demonstrated experience working in Microsoft applications</li><li>Ability to work with a strong sense of urgency and follow tasks through to completion.</li><li>Experience with data entry and tracking in Excel.</li><li>Excellent listening skills with a patient and empathetic approach to customer interactions.</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><em>Must be authorized to work in the U.S./Sponsorships are not available</em></p>
