EHS Coordinator

<p></p><h3>Position Summary </h3> <p>TRP Infrastructure Services is seeking a proactive and safety-driven EHS Coordinator to support and enhance environmental, health, and safety programs across our Pavement Marking, Traffic Control, Heavy Highway Construction, and Infrastructure Services operations. </p> <p>The EHS Coordinator serves as a key resource for field leadership by coordinating safety initiatives, conducting audits and investigations, supporting regulatory compliance efforts, and assisting with implementation of company-wide EHS programs. This position is considered a developmental leadership role and serves as the next step beyond Safety Associate, providing increased responsibility in safety program management, employee development, and operational support. </p> <h3>Essential Duties &amp; Responsibilities </h3> <ul> <li>Conduct comprehensive jobsite inspections, audits, and risk assessments. </li> <li>Lead safety observations and behavioral-based safety initiatives. </li> <li>Partner with operations teams to identify and mitigate workplace hazards. </li> <li>Coordinate company safety programs and compliance initiatives. </li> <li>Lead investigations involving incidents, near misses, vehicle accidents, and property damage events. </li><li>Conduct root cause analyses and develop corrective action plans. </li> <li>Deliver toolbox talks, safety meetings, and compliance training. </li> <li>Mentor Safety Associates and assist in developing future EHS professionals. </li> <li>Support environmental compliance and fleet safety initiatives. </li> <li>Serve as a primary EHS resource for assigned branches and projects. </li> </ul> <h3>Qualifications </h3> <p>Required: </p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or GED. </li> <li>3–5 years of construction safety, EHS, pavement marking, traffic control, heavy highway, or related industry experience. </li> <li>Working knowledge of OSHA Construction Standards. </li><li>Experience conducting inspections and investigations. </li> <li>Strong communication and leadership skills. </li> <li>Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record. </li> </ul> <p>Preferred: </p> <ul> <li>Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field. </li> <li>OSHA 30-Hour Construction Certification. </li> <li>OSHA 510 Certification. </li> <li>CHST Certification. </li> <li>ATSSA Traffic Control Supervisor Certification. </li> </ul> <h3>Career Progression </h3> <p>Safety Associate -&gt; EHS Coordinator -&gt; Senior EHS Specialist -&gt; EHS Manager -&gt; Regional EHS Manager </p> <h3>About TRP Infrastructure Services </h3> <p>TRP Infrastructure Services is committed to building and maintaining a culture where safety, quality, and operational excellence drive everything we do. </p> <h3>Equal Employment Opportunity </h3> <p>TRP Infrastructure Services is an Equal Opportunity Employer and Veteran-Friendly Employer. </p> <h3>Benefits </h3> <ul> <li>Health Insurance </li> <li>Dental Insurance </li> <li>Vision Insurance </li> <li>Life Insurance </li> <li>Short-Term Disability Insurance </li> <li>Long-Term Disability Insurance </li> <li>401k </li> </ul> <p></p> #J-18808-Ljbffr
