We are nationally recognized for producing sterile injectable vials, lyophilized products, and allergenic extracts used in allergy and asthma treatments. </p> <h3>Why Builders Choose Us </h3> <ul> <li><b>Immediate impact: </b> Your work directly supports essential medicines and allergenic therapies used worldwide. </li> <li><b>Benefits start on day one: </b> Medical, dental, vision, FSA/HSA, life, AD&D, and disability benefits begin immediately. </li> <li><b>A career you can grow: </b> Opportunities for advancement, promotion, and annual raises are available. </li> <li><b>A culture of improvement: </b> We value continuous improvement, innovation, and hands‑on contribution. </li> <li><b>A stable industry leader: </b> Backed by Jubilant Pharma, we combine long‑term stability with forward‑looking innovation. </li> </ul> <h3>Job Description </h3> <p>The Environmental Monitoring Specialist oversees all EM functions and personnel, schedules projects, manages training for EM technicians and aseptic personnel, and ensures compliance with regulations and company standards. </p> <h3>Responsibilities </h3> <ul> <li>Attain and maintain aseptic gowning certification for all designated cleanroom areas. </li> <li>Demonstrate consistent compliance with gowning procedures, aseptic techniques, and badge access protocols. </li> <li>Perform routine and non‑routine environmental monitoring in ISO 8 and sterile manufacturing areas, including gown sampling, area clearance, product sampling, and media fill qualifications. </li> <li>Conduct utility sampling (compressed gases, pass‑throughs) and support requalification activities. </li> <li>Prepare, autoclave, and manage supplies and equipment required for EM activities. </li> <li>Operate and maintain EM sampling and testing equipment, including sonication and manual verification tools. </li> <li>Accurately enter, verify, and trend environmental data using MODA, FacilityPro, MasterControl, and TrackWise. </li> <li>Write clear, concise observational memos and ensure data integrity across electronic records and spreadsheets. </li> <li>Read, understand, and follow SOPs, protocols, and departmental procedures. </li> <li>Participate in the writing, review, and revision of SOPs and protocols. </li> <li>Provide EM support during setup, middle‑of‑run, and end‑of‑run activities in SVP1, SVP2, CTM, and SLM suites. </li> <li>Ensure timely and accurate sampling during production and qualification runs. </li> <li>Train or coordinate training for EM personnel, including gowning certification and system use. </li> <li>Assist in scheduling EM tasks and personnel in collaboration with the EM Supervisor. </li> <li>Initiate and support investigations, deviations, TPIRs, and EMIRs as required. </li> <li>Contribute to change management processes and maintain compliance with quality systems. </li> <li>Provide backup support to the EM Supervisor on departmental issues and scheduling. </li> <li>Demonstrate initiative in resolving issues, supporting audits, and driving departmental goals. </li> <li>Must be fully core certified in at least two manufacturing cores; full core training in four manufacturing areas is desirable. </li> </ul> <h3>Qualifications </h3> <ul> <li>High School Diploma required; Bachelor of Science preferred. </li> <li>Minimum 2 years of Environmental Monitoring or pharmaceutical manufacturing experience. </li> <li>Lead experience required. </li> <li>Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. </li> <li>Basic computer navigation and system usage required. </li> <li>Physical ability to lift 25 lbs unassisted, push, pull, stand, sit, and twist as required. </li> <li>Ability to perform aseptic gowning and operate in a sterile environment for extended periods, tolerating noise and wet working surfaces. </li> </ul> <h3>Location & Shift </h3> <p><b>Location: </b> Spokane, WA – Onsite, Full‑time<br /><b>Shift: </b> Monday–Friday 4:30 AM–4:30 PM </p> <h3>Compensation & Benefits </h3> <p><b>Hiring Wage: </b> $38 per hour with a 2.5% shift differential.
