<p></p><h3>About This Role </h3><p>The Clinical Coordinator Hemodialysis is responsible for directing and supervising all unit shift activities, ensuring quality patient care, and providing leadership support to nursing staff. This role is ideal for experienced nurses looking to take on a leadership position in a dynamic healthcare environment. </p><h3>Highlights </h3><ul><li><b>Location </b>: New London, CT </li><li><b>Facility </b>: Yale New Haven Health </li><li><b>Schedule </b>: Full‑time, Day shift </li> </ul><h3>What You’ll Do </h3><ul><li>Assess global needs of patients and match with staff competencies. </li><li>Delegate patient care assignments based on identified needs and abilities. </li><li>Demonstrate appropriate clinical competencies for the nursing unit. </li><li>Assist manager with hiring new staff and address disciplinary issues. </li><li>Review and monitor quality improvement activities. </li><li>Intervene to resolve customer complaints in a timely manner. </li><li>Communicate clearly and effectively to ensure staff have necessary information. </li><li>Participate in employees’ annual review process. </li><li>Function as a preceptor to new staff and coordinate their orientation. </li><li>Assist nurse manager in maintaining up-to-date resource materials. </li> </ul><h3>Requirements </h3><h3>Education </h3><ul><li>BSN required, ADN accepted with proof of matriculation into a BSN program upon hire. </li> </ul><h3>Experience </h3><ul><li>2 to 5 years clinical experience preferred. </li><li>One year of charge nurse or equivalent experience preferred. </li> </ul><h3>Licenses & Certifications </h3><ul><li>Current CT RN Licensure. </li><li>BLS and ACLS required. </li><li>Certification in specialty area required. </li> </ul><h3>About Yale New Haven Health </h3><p>Yale New Haven Health is a leading healthcare provider committed to delivering exceptional patient care.
