<p></p><h3>Neuromuscular Specialist Opportunity at the University of Florida Jacksonville Campus </h3> <p>The Department of Neurology at the University of Florida College of Medicine- Jacksonville seeks a full-time clinical faculty at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor. The successful candidate will be a BC/BE adult neurologist with subspecialty training in Neuromuscular Disorders/EMG and will join two other fellowship-trained colleagues in providing services to a growing patient population. </p> <p>Our Neuromuscular Division is an ALS Center of Excellence and a recipient of the Bitner‑Plante initiative. </p> <p>We are a rapidly expanding academic neurology department located in Northeast Florida. We provide a collegial environment as well as opportunities for academic and leadership advancements through scholarly research and teaching. The successful candidate is also expected to participate in shared departmental clinical responsibilities. </p> <p>This position will report to the Chair of the Department of Neurology, University of Florida College of Medicine- Jacksonville. </p> <h3>About the Department of Neurology </h3> <p>The Department of Neurology at the University of Florida College of Medicine - Jacksonville is a leading academic program that provides clinical services to the UF Health Northeast Region. Our faculty are nationally renowned experts in their fields of expertise who deliver world-class subspecialty neurologic care. </p> <p>Our department boasts of a Neurointensive Care Unit, a DNV Certified Comprehensive Stroke Center, a Comprehensive Multiple Sclerosis Center, an ALS Association Certified Center of Excellence, a Parkinson Foundation Center of Excellence, and a NAEC-Certified Comprehensive Epilepsy Center. </p> <p>Our department is responsible for the neurology education of third- and fourth-year medical students from the University of Florida and other medical schools.
