We have an exciting opportunity for you to join CMC - NE Weight Mgmt Institute which is part of the nation's leading provider of healthcare services, HCA Healthcare. </p> <h3>Job Summary And Qualifications </h3> <p>Full time (Monday - Friday, days), No nights, No On-call, no weekends, No holidays. </p> <h3>What you will do in this role </h3> <ul> <li>Prepare patients for diagnostic stress tests, including interviewing, obtaining informed consent, skin preparation for electrode placement, obtaining resting EKG and blood pressure. </li> <li>Interpretation of resting, stress, and recovery EKGs. </li> <li>Determination of appropriate diagnostic endpoint and instant discussion of test results with physician or midlevel, if necessary. </li> <li>Immediate completion of necessary stress test documentation, including placement of patient stress tests in electronic medical record and communicating results to referral and providing physicians, as well as patients within a timely manner. </li> <li>Basic understanding of internal pacemakers and internal cardiac defibrillators, with the ability to perform basic interrogation and programming. </li> <li>Access and interpret pacemaker and ICD home monitoring reports. </li> <li>Identifies areas for continuing education. </li> <li>Perform other duties as required. </li> <li>Must read and understand and adhere to all Physician Care policies and procedures. </li> <li>Practice and adhere to the Code of Conduct and Mission and Values statements. </li> </ul> <h3>Education </h3> <ul> <li>Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Sports Medicine, Nursing, or equivalent. </li> <li>Master’s degree preferred. </li> </ul> <h3>Experience </h3> <ul> <li>Experience interpreting 12 lead EKGs required. </li> <li>Experience with treadmill stress test using Bruce protocol required. </li> <li>Experience with pacemaker and internal cardiac defibrillators also preferred. </li> </ul> <h3>Benefits </h3> <ul> <li>Comprehensive benefits for medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, behavioral health and telemedicine services. </li> <li>Wellbeing support, including free counseling and referral services. </li> <li>Time away from work programs for paid time off, paid family leave, long‑and short‑term disability coverage and leaves of absence. </li> <li>Savings and retirement resources, including a 401(k) Plan with a 100% match on 3% to 9% of pay (based on years of service), Employee Stock Purchase Plan, flexible spending accounts, preferred banking partnerships, retirement readiness tools, rollover support and financial wellbeing counseling. </li> <li>Education support through tuition assistance, student loan assistance, certification support, dependent scholarships and a partnership with Galen College of Nursing. </li> <li>Additional benefits for fertility and family building, adoption assistance, life insurance, supplemental health protection plans, auto and home insurance, legal counseling, identity theft protection and consumer discounts. </li> </ul> <p>Eligibility for benefits may vary by location. </p> <p>We are an equal opportunity employer.
