Current immunology call points are: Neurologists, Immunologists, Allergists, and Specialty Pharmacy companies. The SSRs should focus on a multi-channel strategy. For example, face-to-face has completed, follow up with requests and set up succeeding interaction points. The SSR will have a hybrid, rep-enabled capability and an omnichannel approach to respond to customers, business and environmental needs of Marketing, Value Access, Operations, Analytics, CL&D, and Medical Affairs. The SSR will also be tasked to move at a rapid pace using digital resources for customer engagement. The SSR will be tasked at using technology for call planning/targeting, field communications, field reporting, sales data analysis, reporting and generating insights. Territory to include Long Island, both Nassau and Suffolk Counties and Queens NY. </p><h3>Responsibilities </h3><ul><li>Sales Excellence/Clinical Expertise: Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of and represent the Grifols immunoglobulin product portfolio with advanced disease state knowledge and treatment approaches. Provide branded product and clinical insights aligned with the product’s label to relevant customers. </li><li>Lead in-depth discussions requiring advanced product knowledge, disease state understanding, and treatment approaches. </li><li>Monitor competitive product dynamics, changing treatment practices or guidelines that may impact Grifols product positioning or usage. </li><li>Engage a broad range of audiences with various levels of expertise. Understand how to work with regional/local systems, centers of excellence, patient advocacy, specialty pharmacy customers and individuals involved with the customer journey. </li><li>Clearly communicate clinical messages that are relevant and specific to each influencer in the decision process (Physician, Office Decision Maker, Clinical Pharmacists, DOP, therapeutic departments, ADR/SP Partner, Infusion Suite Nurse, etc.). </li><li>Demonstrate account-based selling skills (including group presentations). Build relationships in institutions aligned with customer segmentation. </li><li>Partner with Marketing, Ig Nurse Educators, MSL, Value Access, etc. </li><li>Educate and promote IG product portfolio to customers including Primary Care Physicians, Allergists, Neurologists, Pharmacists, and Nurses. </li><li>Map key opinion leaders and maintain appropriate relationships with Grifols Medical Liaison. </li> </ul><ul><li>Business Acumen: Understand major market fluctuations and overall plasma economics of the system/institution (e.g., GPO, SP, ADR, membership, account trends). </li><li>Know the distribution of biologics, key local customers, market dynamics and local/national demand trends. Build strong relationships with distributors aligned with Managed Markets. </li><li>Understand Physician Management companies (e.g., Intrafusion, Corinthian, Healix, etc.). </li><li>Leverage knowledge of customer needs, targeting segmentation and behaviors for territory planning and adapt strategies as needed. Create action plans for key accounts using data analysis and qualitative customer conversations to generate sales. </li><li>Represent customers in the forecast process – align tactics to national strategy and customer needs. </li><li>Monitor managed care coverage across the territory including major accounts (Commercial, Medicare, Medicaid). </li><li>Navigate account contract information within Salesforce. </li> </ul><h3>Stakeholder Engagement </h3><ul><li>Establish credibility and trust with key targeted customers. </li><li>Act as a trusted advisor offering customer-centric solutions and follow through for customer satisfaction. </li><li>Communicate with Grifols external and internal stakeholders. Align with national brand strategy and facilitate pull-through of key account priorities. </li><li>Collaborate with biopharma across therapeutic boundaries to understand local market needs and pull-through with formulary additions and customer-centric solutions. </li><li>Manage resources to fulfill customer needs and impact pull-through (e.g., MSL, IG Nurse Educator, reimbursement specialist). </li><li>Gather and provide customer insights to Marketing for regional/local solutions and share contract revisions with teammates and sales leadership. </li><li>Communicate/share share of cost impact to regional or local systems/institutions/accounts. </li> </ul><h3>Legal, Ethics & Compliance </h3><ul><li>Ensure appropriate training and alignment to guidance. </li> </ul><h3>Qualifications </h3><ul><li>BS/BA degree required; Healthcare/Life Science or business/marketing degree a plus. </li><li>4 years pharmaceutical or biological sales experience required. </li><li>Self-starter with the ability to organize time amid unexpected selling scenarios. </li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills. </li><li>Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and ability to perform market analysis presentations. </li><li>Comfort using a laptop daily for planning, call activity, and territory needs. </li><li>Occasional overnight travel; weekend or evening work may be required. </li><li>Equivalency considerations may apply (e.g., 8 years of experience in lieu of a Bachelor’s, etc.). </li> </ul><h3>Physical and Additional Information </h3><p>Daily activities include operating a corporate vehicle to site locations within the territory. The role may require sitting for long periods, occasional lifting up to 35 lbs, and occasional physical tasks. The estimated pay scale for Specialty Sales Representative, Immunology role in Long Island, NY is $120,000 to $145,000 per year plus an uncapped incentive plan up to $45,000 per year.
