<p></p><h3>Job Summary and Qualifications </h3> <p>The Coordinator Neonatal Program provides leadership and promotes excellence in patient care for neonatal conditions. Responsibilities include performance improvement activities, chart review, gap identification, change implementation, daily patient rounds, policy and protocol review, and nursing education. The role also abstracts information from high‑risk patient medical records, maintains the integrity and confidentiality of the registry, verifies and updates information, prepares reports as requested, and serves as the primary key contact for the facility’s Neonatal Level III program. </p> <h3>Responsibilities </h3> <p>Lead performance improvement initiatives, conduct chart reviews and gap analysis, implement changes, participate in daily patient rounds, review policies and protocols, provide nursing education, maintain registry confidentiality, compile and verify data, prepare reports, and function as primary contact for the Neonatal Level III program. </p> <h3>Qualifications </h3> <ol> <li>Be a clinically active and practicing registered nurse participating in neonatal care. </li> <li>Have the ability to collect, interpret, and analyze data; apply critical thinking skills to process improvement and decision‑making; cooperate effectively with crisis and emergency situations; possess strong communication skills; lead a multidisciplinary team and encourage team‑building; and demonstrate knowledge of general hospital operations. </li> </ol> <h3>Preferred Qualifications </h3> <ul> <li>Computer skills, previous experience in applicable field </li> </ul> <h3>Licenses &amp; Certifications </h3> <ul> <li>Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice or has an active compact license, in accordance with law and regulation. </li> <li>Full‑time, part‑time, or PRN staff with a compact license from a state other than Texas must hold BLS and NRP certifications. </li> <li>Must obtain Basic Cardiac Life Support and Neonate Resuscitation certifications within 30 days of employment start date. </li> <li>Must hold an associate degree in nursing and a minimum of three years of NICU nursing experience. </li> <li>No travel required. </li> </ul> <h3>Benefits </h3> <ul> <li>Comprehensive benefits for medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, behavioral health and telemedicine services. </li> <li>Wellbeing support, including free counseling and referral services. </li> <li>Time away from work programs for paid time off, paid family leave, long‑ and short‑term disability coverage, and leaves of absence. </li> <li>Savings and retirement resources, including a 401(k) Plan with a 100% match on 3% to 9% of pay, Employee Stock Purchase Plan, flexible spending accounts, preferred banking partnerships, retirement readiness tools, rollover support and financial wellbeing counseling. </li> <li>Education support through tuition assistance, student loan assistance, certification support, dependent scholarships, and a partnership with Galen College of Nursing. </li> <li>Additional benefits for fertility and family building, adoption assistance, life insurance, supplemental health protection plans, auto and home insurance, legal counseling, identity theft protection, and consumer discounts. </li> </ul> <p>Note: Eligibility for benefits may vary by location. </p> <p>We are an equal opportunity employer.
