With mentorship opportunities, clinical education courses, professional certification support, and educational assistance, you will have all the resources you need to build the career of a lifetime. </p> <h3>Job Summary and Qualifications </h3> <h3>Position Summary </h3> <ul> <li>Performance Improvement activities and chart review to identify gaps and implement change. </li> <li>Daily patient rounds and review of policies and protocols. </li> <li>Conduct nursing education sessions. </li> <li>Abstract information from high‑risk patient medical records as needed. </li> <li>Maintain the integrity, confidentiality, verification and updating of registry data and prepare reports as requested. </li> <li>Serve as the primary key contact for the facilities Neonatal Level III program. </li> </ul> <h3>What Qualifications You Will Need </h3> <h3>Education and Experience </h3> <ul> <li><b>Required </b>: Associate Degree in Nursing and a minimum of three years of experience in NICU nursing. </li> <li><b>Preferred </b>: Bachelor or Master of Science in Nursing and previous experience as a NICU Clinical Nurse Coordinator. </li> </ul> <h3>Licenses and Certificates </h3> <ul> <li>Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice or holding an active compact license. </li> <li>BLS Certification. </li> <li>NRP Certification. </li> </ul> <h3>Core Skills </h3> <ul> <li>Clinically active, practicing registered nurse participating in neonatal care. </li> <li>Ability to collect, interpret and analyze data. </li> <li>Apply critical thinking to process improvement and decision‑making. </li> <li>Effective coping in crisis and emergency situations. </li> <li>Strong and effective communication skills. </li> <li>Ability to lead a multi‑disciplinary team and encourage team‑building efforts. </li> <li>Knowledge of general hospital operations. </li> </ul> <h3>Preferred Skills </h3> <ul> <li>Computer skills and previous experience in an applicable field. </li> </ul> <h3>Certification Requirements </h3> <ul> <li>Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date. </li> <li>Neonate Resuscitation must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date. </li> </ul> <h3>Benefits </h3> <ul> <li>Comprehensive medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, behavioral health and telemedicine services. </li> <li>Wellbeing support, including free counseling and referral services. </li> <li>Paid time off, paid family leave, long‑ and short‑term disability coverage and leaves of absence. </li> <li>401(k) plan with 100% match on 3% to 9% of pay (based on years of service), Employee Stock Purchase Plan, flexible spending accounts and retirement readiness tools. </li> <li>Education support through tuition assistance, student loan assistance, certification support, dependent scholarships and a partnership with Galen College of Nursing. </li> <li>Additional benefits for fertility and family building, adoption assistance, life insurance, supplemental health protection plans, auto and home insurance, legal counseling, identity theft protection and consumer discounts. </li> </ul> <p>We are an equal opportunity employer.
