<p></p><h3>Overview </h3><p>Aspire Health Partners seeks a Competency Restoration Specialist to provide behavioral health interventions to justice-involved clients who require support in regaining legal competency. In this role, you will deliver structured education on court processes, support psychiatric stabilization, and coordinate care with courts, attorneys, and treatment teams. You will complete assessments, maintain clinical documentation, and contribute to individualized treatment plans in a compassionate, client-centered environment. Join a diverse, multidisciplinary team committed to recovery, community impact, and your ongoing professional growth. </p><h3>Responsibilities </h3><ul><li>Provide competency restoration education on court processes, legal roles, and courtroom behavior to justice-involved clients. </li><li>Conduct biopsychosocial and risk assessments to inform individualized competency restoration and treatment plans. </li><li>Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to support symptom stabilization and legal understanding. </li><li>Collaborate with courts, attorneys, case managers, and multidisciplinary clinical teams to coordinate services. </li><li>Monitor and document client progress in electronic health records, ensuring timely, accurate clinical documentation. </li><li>Participate in treatment team meetings, case staffing, and discharge planning for community reintegration. </li><li>Advocate for client needs while maintaining legal, ethical, and regulatory standards for forensic services. </li><li>Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation as needed to maintain safety in treatment settings. </li><li>Educate clients and families on recovery, relapse prevention, and community resources. </li><li>Engage in ongoing professional development and training in forensic and behavioral health best practices. </li> </ul><h3>Qualifications </h3><ul><li>Forensic mental health assessment </li><li>Competency restoration education </li><li>Clinical documentation/EHR proficiency </li><li>Risk assessment and management </li><li>Motivational interviewing </li><li>Crisis intervention and de-escalation </li><li>Knowledge of criminal justice and court processes </li><li>Treatment planning and case management </li><li>Group and individual counseling skills </li><li>Interdisciplinary team collaboration </li><li>Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) or eligibility </li><li>Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or eligibility </li><li>Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT) or eligibility </li><li>Psychologist license (Psy.D./Ph.D.) or supervision-eligible </li><li>Crisis Prevention/Intervention certification (preferred) </li><li>CPR/First Aid certification (preferred) </li><li>Background check and clearance for justice-involved work </li> </ul><h3>Benefits </h3><ul><li>Medical Insurance </li><li>Dental Insurance </li><li>Vision Insurance </li><li>Life Insurance </li><li>401k </li> </ul> <p></p> #J-18808-Ljbffr
