Clearance Specialist

The hours for the position are 8:30 am - 5:00 pm CSTThe Clearance Specialist works in a centralized call center and plays an important role in the quality of data entry services provided to our patients and physician office, and insurance carriers.Specific duties include, but are not limited to:Accurately enter orders, captures and completes all patient demographic and insurance information.Responsible for ensuring all inbound documents are handled efficientlyMonitor assigned daily worklistsOther duties as assignedPosition Requirements:High School Graduate or equivalent.Previous medical office experience requiredBilingual a plusExcellent customer service skillsAbility to multi taskProfessional appearance and demeanor are requiredExcellent verbal and written communication requiredFamiliarity with current software packages such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook#LI-remoteAkumin Operating Corp. and its divisions are an equal opportunity employer and we believe in strength through diversity.
