<p></p><h3>Job Title: Wellness Specialist / Receiver </h3> <p>We are currently hiring for multiple openings across Austin-area stores. Candidates will be considered for placement based on business needs, scheduling availability, and preferred work location. </p> <h3>Responsibilities </h3> <ul> <li>Provide personalized customer support and wellness product guidance. </li> <li>Educate customers on supplements, lifestyle, and nutrition options within DSHEA guidelines. </li> <li>Create a welcoming environment where customers feel heard and supported. </li> <li>Assist with product selection, special orders, and checkout. </li> <li>Help maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked store. </li> <li>Support inventory, stocking, and merchandising. </li> <li>Participate in ongoing product education and team training. </li> <li>Receive, inspect, and verify incoming product shipments for accuracy. </li> <li>Unpack, organize, and stock merchandise while maintaining inventory accuracy. </li> <li>Coordinate incoming deliveries and maintain an organized receiving area. </li> <li>Assist with inventory counts and product replenishment. </li> <li>Transition from receiving responsibilities to customer‑facing Wellness Specialist duties as store operations begin. </li> </ul> <h3>Who Thrives at Peoples Rx </h3> <ul> <li>Have a strong interest or background in supplements, nutrition, or natural health. </li> <li>Enjoy learning and sharing knowledge. </li> <li>Are warm, approachable, and service‑oriented. </li> <li>Work well in a team and take initiative. </li> <li>Are reliable, organized, and adaptable in a fast‑paced environment. </li> <li>Take pride in creating a positive customer experience. </li> <li>Enjoy organized, detail‑oriented inventory work as well as customer interaction. </li> </ul> <h3>Qualifications </h3> <ul> <li>At least 18 years of age. </li> <li>Passion for supplements, nutrition, or natural and holistic health is strongly preferred. </li> <li>Previous retail receiving, inventory, warehouse, or stockroom experience is required. </li> <li>Knowledge or familiarity with nutritional supplements and wellness products. </li> <li>Ability to work evenings and weekends. </li> <li>Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs. </li> <li>Reliability and consistent schedule availability is a must. </li> <li>Ability to begin work as early as 6:00 a.m. on receiving days. </li> <li>Experience receiving, organizing, and stocking retail merchandise is strongly preferred. </li> </ul> <h3>Benefits </h3> <p>Peoples Rx is locally owned and community‑focused.
