<p></p><p>If you are unable to complete this application due to a disability, contact this employer to ask for an accommodation or an alternative application process. </p> <h3>Clean Room Specialist </h3> <p>The Clean Room Specialist is responsible for performing precision cleaning, handling, inspection, assembly support, packaging, and contamination control of optical components and assemblies in a controlled clean room environment. This position ensures products meet Syntec Optics' stringent cleanliness, quality, and customer requirements while maintaining compliance with clean room protocols and company procedures. </p> <h3>Essential Duties and Responsibilities </h3> <ul> <li>Perform cleaning of optical components using approved solvents, ultrasonic cleaners, DI water systems, and other cleaning equipment. </li> <li>Handle precision optical components using proper contamination control techniques. </li> <li>Inspect parts for cleanliness, cosmetic defects, and contamination using microscopes and inspection equipment. </li> <li>Package optical components in accordance with customer specifications and work instructions. </li> <li>Assemble simple optical and mechanical assemblies within the clean room. </li> <li>Follow all clean room gowning and contamination control procedures. </li> <li>Maintain cleanliness and organization of the clean room and workstations. </li> <li>Complete required production documentation and quality records accurately. </li> <li>Assist Quality Assurance with inspections and documentation as needed.n </li><li>Identify and report product defects, equipment issues, or process concerns. </li> <li>Follow all ESD, FOD, ISO, and safety procedures. </li> <li>Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to improve quality, efficiency, and throughput. </li> <li>Support cross-functional teams including Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality. </li> <li>Perform other duties as assigned. </li> </ul> <h3>Qualifications </h3> <ul> <li>High school diploma or GED required. </li> <li>Previous experience in a clean room, medical device, semiconductor, aerospace, or precision manufacturing environment preferred. </li> <li>Experience handling delicate optical components is highly desirable. </li> <li>Basic computer skills. </li> <li>Ability to follow written work instructions and technical documentation. </li> <li>Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. </li> <li>Good communication and teamwork skills. </li> <li>Understanding of clean room protocols and contamination control. </li> <li>Ability to use microscopes and precision inspection equipment. </li> <li>Ability to recognize cosmetic defects and contamination. </li> <li>Strong organizational skills. </li> <li>Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. </li> <li>Commitment to safety and quality standards. </li> </ul> <h3>Physical Requirements </h3> <ul> <li>Ability to sit or stand for extended periods. </li> <li>Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity. </li> <li>Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally. </li> <li>Good vision, including close visual acuity (corrective lenses acceptable). </li> <li>Ability to wear clean room garments, gloves, masks, and other required PPE for extended periods. </li> </ul> <p></p> #J-18808-Ljbffr
