Senior Workday Engineer / Application Developer

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Workday security and audit compliance, with the expertise to drive innovation across the Workday ecosystem. This role focuses on building secure, scalable, and high performing solutions across security, integrations, reporting, and application development. Success in this role means delivering reliable, high performing integrations and reporting solutions that support business needs while driving automation and process efficiencies across the Workday environment. </p> <h3>Required Skills &amp; Experience </h3> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Information Technology, Business or a closely related field and four years of experience in software programming. </li> <li>10+ years of Workday technical experience </li> <li>Strong expertise in Security, Studio/Integrations, Extend, and Reporting </li> <li>Experience with XML, XSLT, JSON, APIs </li> <li>Knowledge of SOX, IAM (e.g., SailPoint), and enterprise integrations </li> <li>Proficiency in MS Office Tools </li> <li>High level of computer skills to use various software packages as well as a familiarity with hardware configuration. </li> <li>Excellent ability to communicate, persuade and/or influence internal and/or external business partners at a high level such as senior management on matters of a technical and/or complex nature. </li> </ul> <h3>Desired Skills &amp; Experience </h3> <ul> <li>Workday certifications </li> <li>Experience with Prism, Azure, or automation tools </li> <li>Background supporting HCM, Finance, or Payroll modules </li> </ul> <h3>What You Will Be Doing </h3> <ul> <li>Lead Workday Security (RBAC, SoD, SOX compliance, audits, IAM integrations) </li> <li>Design and develop integrations using Workday Studio, EIB, and APIs (REST/SOAP) </li> <li>Build and enhance applications with Workday Extend </li> <li>Create advanced reports and dashboards using BIRT &amp; Report Writer </li> <li>Manage business process orchestration and automation </li> <li>Provide production support and drive continuous improvements </li> <li>Assist in the design and development and testing of software applications. Resolve day-to-day incidents to assure the integrity of the services being provided. </li> <li>Consume, transform and update data between two or more systems using Integration software. </li> <li>Consult with business partner to identify and define software application needs. Analyze requests for changes, update or modify new or existing software applications and make recommendations for designs to meet client specifications. </li> <li>Consult with business partners to create documentation relating to the program definition, development, business requirements. Documentation includes software objectives, deliverables, and end user specifications. </li> <li>Assist, mentor, and provide technical direction, leadership, guidance and support for Application Developers and other IT staff. Support the smooth operation and maintenance of the system while meeting SLAs for delivering data to users. </li> <li>Write, translate, and code software programs and applications according to specifications and end user requirements. </li> <li>Prepare system, context and infrastructure diagrams needed in application development and analysis. </li> <li>Train end users to operate new or modified programs, reporting tools and analytics. </li> <li>Work independently to keep abreast of new and changing technological advances in program languages, utilities, tools, and client/server technology to assure achievement of optimum results. </li> </ul> <p>Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis now and in the future. </p> <p></p> #J-18808-Ljbffr
