We are seeking a Client Accounts Representative to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast‑paced environment and contribute to the growth and success of our firm. The right individual for this role will work with Holland &amp; Knight’s Billing Attorneys, assistants, and internal teams as a liaison with clients, for the purpose of resolving client non‑payment issues to improve collection realization. </p> <h3>Key Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions </h3> <ul> <li>Communicate and interact with attorneys, assistants, and clients. </li> <li>Manage assigned attorneys’ inventory, specifically monitoring and resolving aged invoices, credit balances, and aged unbilled work. </li> <li>Handle all aspects of attorney and client outreach (via email, phone, and/or mail) to resolve non‑payment issues. </li> <li>Respond to collection related requests quickly, effectively, and accurately. </li> <li>Work with peers and management on collection related requests. </li> <li>Partner with the Billing team to resolve auditing issues, reconciliation issues, and elevate concerns as needed. </li> <li>Communicate and report to leadership on delinquent collections and at‑risk inventory. </li> <li>Expected to maintain a regular and predictable work schedule and full attention to and engagement in work activities on behalf of the firm during business hours unless otherwise approved or required by applicable law. </li> <li>Special projects and duties as assigned. </li> </ul> <h3>Required Skills </h3> <ul> <li>Knowledge of or ability to learn Microsoft Office Suite, or Microsoft 365. </li> <li>Excellent organizational, problem‑solving, and time management skills. </li> <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with attorneys, clients and internal stakeholders. </li> <li>Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to use good judgment. </li> <li>Excellent computer skills. </li> <li>Proficient knowledge of accounting functions. </li> </ul> <h3>Required Qualifications &amp; Education </h3> <ul> <li>0–2 years of work in a professional environment. </li> </ul> <h3>Preferred Qualifications &amp; Education </h3> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or Business discipline. </li> <li>Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, pivot tables). </li> </ul> <h3>Physical Requirements </h3> <ul> <li>Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time. </li> <li>Moderate or advanced keyboard usage. </li> </ul> <h3>Benefits </h3> <p>Our goal is to promote a work environment in which individuals have access to the resources they need to be their best both professionally and personally, which includes resources that encourage individuals to focus on their health and well‑being.
