<p></p><p><b>Student Accounts Representative </b> – Tampa (R ) </p> <p>The Bursar's Office at The University of Tampa seeks a Student Accounts Representative to assist students and parents with accounts receivable processes. The role reports to the Assistant Bursar and is considered essential. </p> <h3>Responsibilities </h3> <ol> <li>Assist students and families with accurate tuition and fees structure, audit rates, and room and board rates. </li> <li>Provide counseling on payment, withdrawal, and refund policies and explain the university’s payment plan. </li> <li>Interpret a student’s financial aid package to articulate how aid affects the overall statement. </li> <li>Counsel students and families on third‑party payees, such as 529 payments, Florida Prepaid, and Sponsored Payments. </li> <li>Record and deposit all monies received daily, including outside scholarship payments. </li> <li>Verify and balance credit card transmittal daily; maintain cash receipts and student files. </li> <li>Assist with auditing student accounts during all phases of the registration process. </li> <li>Perform general clerical duties such as scanning documents and answering phones. </li> <li>Coordinate with other institutional offices for the best interest of the student. </li> <li>Contribute to a work environment that encourages cultural and background diversity. </li> </ol> <h3>Qualifications </h3> <ol> <li>High school diploma required; some college coursework preferred. </li> <li>Minimum 12 months cash handling experience. </li> <li>At least two years customer service experience. </li> <li>Efficient typing and 10‑key skills. </li> <li>Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite. </li> <li>Excellent oral, interpersonal, and organizational skills. </li> <li>Ability to establish priorities and manage time effectively. </li> <li>Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment. </li> <li>Knowledge of, or willingness to learn, the University of Tampa software programs such as Workday and Microsoft Office. </li> <li>Willingness to embrace new technologies and innovative practices. </li> </ol> <h3>Work Schedule </h3> <p>Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.; summer timetable: Monday–Thursday, 8:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m.; occasional evenings and weekends required. </p> <p></p> #J-18808-Ljbffr
