<p></p><p>A leading financial services consultancy is supporting a <b>private banking client </b> with a long-term remediation and BAU uplift and is seeking <b>five (5) experienced EDD Analysts </b> to join the programme. </p> <p>This is an on-the-ground role in <b>Glasgow </b>, operating within a hybrid working model. Candidates <b>must be UK-based and able to attend the Glasgow office </b>. </p> <h3><b>Key Responsibilities </b> </h3> <ul> <li>Conduct <b>Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) </b> on private banking customers </li> <li>Review and assess <b>high-risk individuals and entities </b>, including: </li> <ul> <li>HNWIs / UHNWIs </li> <li>PEPs </li> <li>Complex offshore structures </li> </ul> <li>Perform in-depth analysis of: </li> <ul> <li>Source of Wealth (SoW) </li> <li>Source of Funds (SoF) </li> </ul> <li>Identify and document financial crime risks, red flags, and mitigating controls </li> <li>Draft clear, well-reasoned EDD reports in line with internal policy and UK regulatory standards </li> <li>Escalate material risks appropriately and work closely with QA and management teams </li> <li>Ensure work is completed in line with SLAs and quality expectations </li> </ul> <h3><b>Required Experience </b> </h3> <ul> <li>Proven experience as an <b>EDD / AML Analyst </b> within <b>private banking or wealth management </b> </li> <li>Strong exposure to <b>complex EDD cases </b> (HNW, PEPs, offshore structures) </li> <li>Solid understanding of <b>UK AML regulations </b> and financial crime frameworks </li> <li>Ability to produce <b>high-quality written EDD rationales </b> </li> <li>Comfortable working in a <b>delivery-focused, regulated environment </b> </li> </ul> <h3><b>Essential Requirements </b> </h3> <ul> <li>Right to work in the UK </li> <li>Able to work <b>on the ground in Glasgow </b> (hybrid model) </li> <li>Available for a <b>24-month contract </b> </li> </ul> <h3><b>Desirable </b> </h3> <ul> <li>Experience on long-term remediation or large-scale AML programmes </li> <li>Background in Tier 1 banks, private banks, or specialist consultancies </li> </ul> <h3><b>What’s on Offer </b> </h3> <ul> <li>Long-term contract stability (24 months) </li> <li>Hybrid working model </li> <li>Opportunity to work on a <b>high-profile private banking engagement </b> </li> <li>Competitive day rate (aligned to experience) </li> </ul> <p></p> #J-18808-Ljbffr
