Senior UX Designer, Graphics Apps — Remote

<p></p><p>Company: Corel Corporation </p><p>Position: Senior User Experience Designer – Graphics Applications </p><p>This full-time role is located at Corel Corporation’s Ottawa office but is remote‑friendly. The Senior UX Designer reports to the Director of Product Design and designs user experiences for the company’s world‑class graphics portfolio, delighting millions of users worldwide. </p><h3>Responsibilities </h3><ul><li>Provide design leadership and contribute to a positive, collaborative work environment </li><li>Clearly communicate compelling design solutions using a variety of media and channels, including case definition, wireframes, mockups, stories and presentations </li><li>Create and maintain design systems within standard UX tools </li><li>Actively engage with users to understand user behavior, needs and motivations through observation, interviews and feedback collection </li><li>Incorporate user feedback into design iterations </li><li>Synthesize and translate customer and business inputs into meaningful requirements </li><li>Assess and optimize the performance of new and existing features by conducting and interpreting research analytics data points </li><li>Act as the UX lead in scrums and assist Product Management in prioritizing work items </li><li>Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and scrums to ensure designs align with business priorities, intended functionality and goals </li><li>Work with Product Management and R&amp;D to break down requirements into manageable components to be delivered on schedule, at the right level of user value and quality </li><li>Stay updated with the latest developments in AI and user experience design to create innovative, cutting‑edge designs </li><li>Evolve the workflows and interaction of all solutions based on new user and business inputs and expectations </li><li>Craft journey and empathy maps </li><li>Develop prototypes to test and visualize the user experience </li> </ul><h3>Qualifications </h3><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Human Computer Interaction, Architecture, Graphic Design, or another related design field </li><li>7+ years of designing compelling user experiences for desktop, mobile and web </li><li>Experience designing and implementing user interfaces for AI features </li><li>Proven experience designing for desktop and web </li><li>Solid understanding of devices and platforms </li><li>Strong interaction and visual design skills </li><li>Strong oral and written communication skills </li><li>Excellent organization, multi‑tasking and prioritization skills </li><li>Strong attention to detail </li><li>Proven ability to deliver against tight deadlines </li> </ul><h3>About Corel </h3><p>Corel is a beloved and trusted industry titan fueled by make‑everything‑easier flexibility.
