<p></p><h3>Systems Engineer – Systems Integration & Test </h3><p>Location: US-CA-SAN DIEGO </p><p>Role Type: Onsite </p><p>Security Clearance: Secret – Requires current and active U.S. government issued security clearance and U.S. citizenship. </p><h3>What You Will Do </h3><ul><li>Participate in integration and test planning/execution, executing verification/validation events, and perform scenario-based analysis to identify and resolve technical observations. </li><li>Complete system performance assessments and validation testing to ensure compliance with requirements and specifications. </li><li>Execute integration plans and testing activities according to defined tasks, milestones and schedules. </li><li>Integrate and test radar system software builds in a String/HWIL facility for supporting integration, verification, test, and data analysis activities. </li><li>Collaborate with cross-program leads/stakeholders to generate test approaches, ensure test‑setup readiness, and participate in key processes (peer, gate, and test readiness). </li><li>Confirm test and evaluation processes are conducted according to established procedures for software and hardware and ensure compliance with Department of Defense technology release and export licensing policies. </li><li>Willingness for 5‑10% local and non‑local travel including experience with domestic and foreign military sales products. </li> </ul><h3>Qualifications </h3><ul><li>Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience. </li><li>Experience with MATLAB, Python, Perl, C/C++, Linux, Unix, and/or other programming. </li><li>Experience with systems engineering, radar data analysis, integration, verification, validation and/or system testing. </li><li>Experience using String/HWIL test equipment, radio frequency (RF) electronic hardware configuration and installation, software installations, and integrating or regression testing radar systems. </li><li>Certifications in CompTIA Network+ and/or CompTIA Security+ preferred. </li><li>Experience with MATLAB, Linux Operating Systems (Linux Red Hat), Unix, and Shell scripting for performing integration, verification, test, and data analysis, integrating and configuring electronics, installing/debugging software. </li><li>Experience creating integration test procedures, test plans, test scripts, developing and maintaining configuration control documentation, and navigating through test setup. </li><li>Experience with agile and DevSecOps processes, implementing or maintaining agile methodologies, participating in daily team standup meetings, sprint reviews, program Increment (PI) Planning meetings, retrospectives, and agile tooling such as JIRA and Confluence, and supporting execution of the team’s backlog including performance analysis and issue investigation. </li><li>Strong integration skills, knowledge of radar algorithms, radar signal processing concepts, theory, modeling and determining radar performance, and team interaction skills. </li> </ul><h3>Equal Opportunity Statement </h3><p>RTX is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
