<p></p><h3>Job Description </h3> <p><b>Start here. Grow here. </b> </p> <p>We are currently seeking a Security Associate Director for our Security and Technology Engineering team. This is a great opportunity to play a significant part in future construction projects in major cities across Europe and the world. </p> <p>The AECOM Security & Technology Engineering team is a specialist group within the Building Engineering division that provides specialist Security and Technology design and support services to complement and enhance the design activities of the building engineering teams. </p> <p>The Buildings Engineering team consists of around 400 Engineers who work on large-scale construction projects and focus on project specialisms in London and worldwide. Some sectors we work in are major commercial build and fit-out projects, large mixed-use developments, CNI and a variety of other sectors. </p> <h3>What You'll Do </h3> <p>You will manage high level technical and strategic security engineering services on new build and fit-out projects, throughout the RIBA stages, including: </p> <ul> <li>Conduct risk assessments, develop mitigation strategies and write operational requirements. </li> <li>Lead master planning for projects from city-level down to mixed-use developments. </li> <li>Design physical security solutions, including electronic locking, walling, glazing, doors, barriers, and fencing. </li> <li>Create electronic security designs for video surveillance, access control, intruder detection, and intercom systems. </li> <li>Provide counter-terrorism guidance, including on Hostile Vehicle Mitigation (HVM), bomb blast, and ballistics (in partnership with specialists). </li> </ul> <h3>Benefits </h3> <p>And let's not forget about the perks at AECOM.
