Software Developer I, II

(G2) is on the lookout for an energetic, innovative, and driven software developer to join our cutting‑edge team. </p><h3>About the Role </h3><p>As a software developer at G2, you’ll dive into exciting projects, harnessing your skills to solve complex challenges and support national defense. You’ll be part of a collaborative environment where creativity and innovation are at the forefront. </p><h3>Responsibilities </h3><ul><li>Perform software engineering that includes software planning, requirements analysis, design, development, integration, testing, debugging, and installing large‑scale software systems. </li> </ul><h3>What You’ll Need </h3><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four‑year college or university, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. </li><li>Experience in Agile Software Engineering Processes and Life Cycle. </li><li>Experience working within automated development/build environments leveraging tools such as Git/GitLab/Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence. </li><li>Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting, using effective communication and writing skills. </li><li>This position requires that the candidate be a U.S. citizen and either have, or be able to obtain, and maintain a DoD clearance. </li> </ul><h3>Desired Qualifications </h3><ul><li>Experience with software development for relational databases such as H2 DB. </li> </ul><h3>Physical Requirements </h3><ul><li>Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. </li><li>Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times. </li><li>Must be able to navigate each department at G2 and at the assigned client facilities. </li> </ul><h3>Location </h3><p>This is a full‑time, on‑site position based in San Diego, CA. Travel is &lt;15%. </p><h3>Compensation and Benefits </h3><p>The compensation range for this position in California is $120,000/year to $150,000/year, depending on expertise and market conditions.
