<h3>Overview </h3><p>Read AI is seeking a Spanish-speaking Business Development Representative to join our sales team. This role is not a traditional BDR; you will wear multiple hats as an SDR, MDR, and marketing representative, supporting the sales team to grow revenue and brand awareness. The ideal candidate has a strong B2B SaaS sales background and thrives in a fast-paced, early-stage startup environment. </p><h3>The Role </h3><p>Read AI is looking for a Spanish-speaking BDR to qualify a high volume of inbound leads, perform outbound prospecting into target markets, and collaborate with Account Executives to help plan accounts and shape sales strategy. </p><h3>Responsibilities </h3><ul><li>The BDR will generate new business through outbound calls and targeted emails to potential clients. </li><li>The BDR qualifies prospective customers through targeted questions about their business strategy and uses that information to align and sell Read AI. </li><li>This role spends approximately 75% of time qualifying prospects for the sales team through outbound prospecting and 25% qualifying inbound leads. </li><li>Receive hands-on training with an emphasis on strategic discovery and thorough qualification. </li><li>Gain in-depth experience in a rapidly growing AI SaaS startup. </li><li>Individual contributor role reporting to the Director of Business Development. </li><li>Use the CRM strategically to record information and identify additional opportunities in the assigned territory. </li><li>Create and execute strategic outbound prospecting campaigns using a mix of call and email outreach. </li> </ul><h3>Qualifications </h3><ul><li>Experience: Prior experience in B2B sales, ideally with SaaS or technology solutions. </li><li>Track Record: Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets in an early-stage startup environment. </li><li>Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence decision-makers. </li><li>Sales Skills: Strong understanding of sales processes, methodologies, and best practices, especially in managing inbound and outbound leads. </li><li>Technical Aptitude: Ability to quickly understand and articulate technical concepts and value propositions. </li><li>CRM Proficiency: Experience with CRM software (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and sales enablement tools. </li><li>Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment. </li><li>Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related field. </li> </ul><h3>Why Read AI? </h3><ul><li>Innovative: We're bringing AI to the masses by introducing technology designed to improve every interaction. </li><li>Massive Impact: AI enables people to do more by removing mundane tasks and letting them focus on what matters most. </li><li>Growth Opportunities: Read AI is a rapidly growing AI copilot and meeting notetaker, on track to become a leading consumer AI company, with momentum and recognition for 2025. </li><li>Leadership: Learn more about our leadership and patents in company profiles and tech briefs. </li><li>Collaborative Culture: Work in a supportive and diverse team environment. </li> </ul><p>The annual base salary for this position ranges from $60,000 to $70,000, with an additional performance-based variable component of up to 30%.
