This role is ideal for a hands‑on engineer who excels in both backend and frontend development, with deep expertise in Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and modern web frameworks. The successful candidate will own features end‑to‑end, contribute to critical production readiness efforts, and collaborate closely with product, QA, and DevOps teams in a fast‑paced Agile environment. </p> <h3>Responsibilities </h3> <ul> <li>Design, develop, test, and support full‑stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Angular or React. </li> <li>Own feature delivery throughout the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements refinement through production support. </li> <li>Develop and maintain scalable REST APIs and microservices architectures. </li> <li>Build reusable, modular, and maintainable frontend components that integrate seamlessly with backend services. </li> <li>Implement and support Kafka‑based event‑driven solutions, including producers, consumers, and messaging integrations. </li> <li>Troubleshoot application, deployment, and production issues while ensuring system reliability and performance. </li> <li>Participate in code reviews, system design discussions, and technical problem‑solving activities. </li> <li>Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and product teams to deliver high‑quality solutions. </li> <li>Support observability, monitoring, alerting, and operational readiness initiatives for production deployments. </li> <li>Apply secure coding practices and adhere to regulatory, audit, compliance, and resilience requirements. </li> <li>Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior developers through collaboration and code reviews. </li> </ul> <h3>Required Qualifications </h3> <ul> <li>5–8 years of hands‑on full‑stack development experience. </li> <li>Strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot. </li> <li>Proven experience designing and developing REST APIs and microservices‑based applications. </li> <li>Strong frontend development experience with Angular or React. </li> <li>Hands‑on experience with Kafka or similar messaging/event‑streaming platforms. </li> <li>Advanced SQL skills with experience writing: <ul> <li>Complex joins </li> <li>Subqueries </li> <li>Aggregations </li> <li>Performance optimization and troubleshooting </li> </ul> </li> <li>Experience working with Docker and containerized applications. </li> <li>Understanding of OpenShift and/or Kubernetes concepts. </li> <li>Experience with CI/CD pipelines and troubleshooting build/deployment issues. </li> <li>Strong debugging, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities. </li> <li>Ability to independently deliver complex features from design through production support. </li> </ul> <h3>Preferred Qualifications </h3> <ul> <li>Experience with Micro Frontend (MFE) architectures. </li> <li>Exposure to AI developer productivity tools such as Amazon Q, Kiro, or similar platforms. </li> <li>Experience working in highly regulated or financial services environments. </li> <li>Familiarity with observability, logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions. </li> </ul> <h3>Technical Environment </h3> <ul> <li>Java </li> <li>Spring Boot </li> <li>Angular or React </li> <li>Kafka </li> <li>SQL </li> <li>Docker </li> <li>OpenShift / Kubernetes </li> <li>CI/CD Pipelines </li> <li>Microservices Architecture </li> <li>REST APIs </li> </ul> <h3>Ideal Candidate </h3> <p>The ideal candidate is a highly capable full‑stack engineer who combines deep hands‑on experience with strong ownership and problem‑solving skills.
