Mainframe Production Analyst

<p></p><h3>Responsibilities </h3> <p>Open‑air system-wide application SpaceAllowedShared Listed simply Kforce for a client in San Antonio, TX who seeks a Mainframe Production Analyst professional. The primary focus is the use of mainframe scheduling systems to manage and control batch workloads in a production environment. This is an onsite role with no ability to work remotely. </p> <ul> <li>Monitor and manage batch schedules using mainframe scheduling tools. </li> <li>Query scheduling systems to track job status and dependencies. </li> <li>Add, remove, and modify job schedules as required. </li> <li>Run forecasts and analyze batch flows to identify potential issues. </li> <li>Support daily batch operations and coordinate with the operations team. </li> </ul> <h3>Requirements </h3> <p>Technical Skills Needed: </p> <ul> <li>Proficient in JCL </li> <li>TSO </li> <li>Roscoe </li> <li>CICS </li> <li>JIRA </li> <li>Change management </li> </ul> <h3>Compensation &amp; Benefits </h3> <p>The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
