<p></p><p><b>This role is with a DeWinter Investment Management Partner </b> </p> <p><b>This is a hybrid role in Boston, MA </b> </p> <p><b>12 Month + contract (or contract to hire, if desired) </b> </p> <p>We’re seeking a mid-level engineer with a strong front-end focus to help build intuitive, high-performance user experiences across a suite of digital products. </p> <p>In this role, you’ll work closely with product managers, designers, and backend teams to translate complex requirements into clean, responsive interfaces that feel effortless for end users. </p> <p>This position is ideal for someone who thrives in product-driven environments and enjoys owning features end-to-end — with an emphasis on React and TypeScript development. </p> <h3>What You’ll Do </h3> <ul> <li>Build, enhance, and maintain front-end features using React, TypeScript, and modern UI development patterns </li> <li>Collaborate directly with product managers and UX designers to refine requirements and improve usability </li> <li>Integrate front-end components with RESTful APIs, microservices, and backend systems </li> <li>Contribute to full-stack development using Node.js / TypeScript, and support backend/API improvements </li> <li>Participate in architecture discussions, sprint ceremonies, and code reviews </li> <li>Optimize performance, accessibility, and reliability in responsive web applications </li> <li>Maintain code quality through testing, documentation, and adherence to engineering best practices </li> <li>Contribute to UI consistency through shared component libraries and design systems </li> </ul> <h3>What We’re Looking For </h3> <ul> <li>3–6+ years of professional software engineering experience </li> <li>Experience with Node.js or another backend language (Python/Java acceptable for API layer) </li> <li>Solid understanding of API integration, async patterns, and state management (React Query, Redux, Zustand, etc.) </li> <li>Ability to work effectively in product-heavy, collaborative environments </li> <li>Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, automated testing, and cloud environments (AWS preferred) </li> <li>Strong communication skills — especially when partnering with product and design </li> <li>Must be Boston-local or able to work onsite multiple days per week </li> </ul> <h3>Nice to Have </h3> <ul> <li>Experience with crypto, digital asset workflows, or blockchain-adjacent platforms </li> <li>Hands‑on work with design systems or UI component libraries (Material UI, internal libraries, etc.) </li> <li>Background in financial services or other regulated industries </li> <li>Exposure to A/B testing, feature flagging, or user feedback loops </li> <li>Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG) and secure coding practices </li> </ul> <h3>Job Details </h3> <ul> <li>Seniority level: Mid‑Senior level </li> <li>Employment type: Contract </li> <li>Job function: Information Technology, Consulting, and Engineering </li> <li>Industries: Financial Services and Investment Management </li> </ul> <h3>Benefits </h3> <ul> <li>Medical insurance </li> <li>Vision insurance </li> <li>401(k) </li> <li>Disability insurance </li> </ul> <p>Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at DeWinter Group by 2x </p> <p></p> #J-18808-Ljbffr
