<p></p><p>We are currently looking for a highly motivated mid-level FEA engineer with a BS/MS and least 5 (preferably 10) years of work experience, at a fast paced, internationally growing organization with a start-up culture. In this role, you will participate in a wide range of real-world consulting projects including the design, analysis, and optimization of turbomachinery components. </p><h3>Why you should apply: </h3><ul><li>Hands-on experience in real consulting projects </li><li>Challenge yourself in a supportive environment. </li><li>Wonderful benefits package including profit sharing, generous paid off time, and flexible schedule. </li> </ul><h3>Responsibilities: </h3><ul><li>Create finite element models of complex components (rotating and stationary) and assemblies for structural analysis. </li><li>Perform static steady state / transient, modal, shock, and fatigue analyses for turbomachinery components such as blades, impellers, rotors, casings, etc. </li><li>Analyze results for stress, strain, displacement, modes, etc. and conclude on machine reliability. </li><li>Prepare final reports, formal documentation, and presentation materials summarizing analysis results and presenting results internally and to clients. </li><li>Support FEA software development group and deliver software demonstrations to prospective and current clients. </li> </ul><h3>Qualifications: </h3><ul><li>BS / MS in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering or related science. </li><li>5 – 10 years of experience in Structural Analysis </li><li>Solid knowledge of strength and structural vibrations. </li><li>Understanding of structural analysis methods (including FEA). </li><li>Proficient with commercial finite element analysis programs preferable ANSYS Mechanical and/or Siemens Simcenter </li><li>Knowledge of CAD tools is preferred. </li><li>Background in turbomachinery components mechanical analysis is preferred. </li><li>Ability to work independently and develop advanced technical principles, techniques, and concepts. </li> </ul> <p></p> #J-18808-Ljbffr
