Startup Growth Partner Development Representative, Global Startup Team

As a Partner Development Representative, you will have the exciting opportunity to recruit, enable and grow our ecosystem of Amazon Partner Network (APN) Startup partners. </p> <p>A primary responsibility of this role will be to onboard new startup ISV partners to APN and the Global Startup Program. The ability to identify, prioritize and build relationships with the most strategic of these partners is essential. You will need to focus on helping these partners build the proper foundation for a long term partnership with AWS. </p> <p>You will be eager to learn how to influence decision makers at the executive level, as well as the proven ability to interact with many stakeholders. You should have a demonstrated ability to think strategically, execute tactically and communicate clearly. Success criteria for this position will be heavily metrics driven, which will require contributing to the build out of a scalable process to manage a large volume of partners. </p> <h3>Roles &amp; Responsibilities </h3> <ul> <li>Onboard new Startup partners to APN </li> <li>Effectively manage and measure a large number of partner enablement, technical and go-to-market requests. </li> <li>Enable startup partners to graduate to Startup Partner Development Manager (PDM) coverage </li> <li>Collaborate with key internal stakeholders (e.g. service teams, sales, marketing, PR, legal, support, etc.) to improve process and execution. </li> <li>Utilize CRM systems, data warehousing and other analytic tools to establish detailed metrics. </li> </ul> <h3>Basic Qualifications </h3> <ul> <li>3+ years of business development, partnership management, or sourcing new business experience </li> <li>3+ years of working with Core Cloud Technology Services, including, but not limited to Compute, Edge, Hybrid, Security, and/or Networking experience </li> <li>Bachelor's degree or equivalent </li> <li>Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements </li> </ul> <h3>Preferred Qualifications </h3> <ul> <li>Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization </li> <li>Experience in Go-To-Market, Business Development, Sales, or Consulting </li> </ul> <p>Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. </p> <p>Los Angeles County applicants: Job duties for this position include: work safely and cooperatively with other employees, supervisors, and staff; adhere to standards of excellence despite stressful conditions; communicate effectively and respectfully with employees, supervisors, and staff to ensure exceptional customer service; and follow all federal, state, and local laws and Company policies. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
