Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more. </p> <h3>Base pay range </h3> <p>$84,182.00/yr - $110,000.00/yr </p> <p>Direct message the job poster from Houston-Galveston Area Council </p> <p><b>What will I be doing? </b> </p> <ul> <li>Data Collection &amp; Integrity: Gather, clean, and validate data from a variety of sources to ensure its accuracy and integrity. </li> <li>Data Analysis &amp; Insights: Perform detailed statistical analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions. </li> <li>Reporting &amp; Visualization: Develop reports, dashboards, and visualizations using Power BI to present findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. </li> <li>Collaboration: Work with business units to understand data needs and provide analytical support to improve organizational processes. </li> <li>SQL &amp; Data Management: Write and maintain SQL queries, scripts, and data pipelines to automate reporting and data extraction tasks. </li> <li>Performance Monitoring: Track key performance indicators and assist in the development of performance dashboards aligned with agency goals. </li> <li>Data Governance &amp; Documentation: Help define data standards, ensure governance compliance, and document data processes. </li> <li>Task Automation: Automate repetitive tasks using tools like Microsoft Power Automate, PowerShell, Python, and other technologies. </li> <li>Training &amp; Support: Provide training and support for staff on analytical tools and automation workflows. </li> <li>System Integration: Work on integrating automation and analytics workflows with existing systems like Microsoft 365, Asana, and other business applications. </li> <li>Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date on new data analysis methods, automation tools, and industry best practices to continuously improve processes and tools. </li> </ul> <p><b>Key Qualifications </b> </p> <ul> <li>Technical Expertise: Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools such as Power BI. </li> <li>Data Analysis: Strong ability to analyze large datasets and extract actionable insights. </li> <li>Programming Skills: Familiarity with statistical programming languages such as Python or R is a plus. </li> <li>Business Insight: Ability to translate complex business problems into data solutions and communicate findings to a broad audience. </li> <li>Data Infrastructure: Experience with data warehousing and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes is preferred. </li> <li>Automation Tools: Experience with task automation platforms (e.g., Microsoft Power Automate, PowerShell, or Python) is a plus. </li> <li>Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams, providing data-driven support to meet business needs. </li> <li>Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present data in an easily digestible format. </li> <li>Problem-Solving: Strong analytical thinking with a proactive approach to identifying issues and implementing solutions. </li> <li>Teamwork &amp; Independence: Ability to work both collaboratively within a team and independently, ensuring progress and deadlines are met efficiently. </li> </ul> <p><b>Do you have… </b> </p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in an applicable academic discipline or related field of study </li> <li>5 years of experience working with local government, nonprofit programs, school or in job related duties </li> </ul> <p><b>Preferred Qualifications </b> </p> <ul> <li>Training experience </li> <li>Project management </li> </ul> <p></p> #J-18808-Ljbffr
