<p></p><h3>Sales Representative II - Brooklyn (Bilingual Spanish) </h3> <p>Join MetroPlusHealth as a Sales Representative II. This role is located in Brooklyn, NY and requires bilingual Spanish. The base pay for this position is $60,000.00 per year. </p> <h3>Scope Of Role &amp; Responsibilities </h3> <ul> <li>Educate and assist qualified individuals in applying for coverage through the NY State of Health Marketplace, Medicaid, and Child Health Plus (CHP). </li> <li>Assist consumers with calling the NY State of Health Customer Services Department for enrollment and documentation verification. </li> <li>Conduct public education activities to raise awareness of available Qualified Health Plans (QHPs) within the Marketplace. </li> <li>Explain potential eligibility for government programs, federal health insurance premium tax credits, cost‑sharing reductions, and risk factors to consumers. </li> <li>Describe the features and benefits of health insurance coverage, including cost‑sharing mechanisms like deductibles, co‑pays, and co‑insurance. </li> <li>Describe the different metal tiers within the Marketplace and how benefits vary based on income. </li> <li>Assist consumers with submitting documents and information to the Marketplace via scan, fax, or mail. </li> <li>Assist existing members with recertification when applicable. </li> <li>Assist consumers with premium payment submission when required. </li> </ul> <h3>Regulatory/Compliance </h3> <ul> <li>Secure and safeguard confidential information to prevent PHI from unauthorized personnel. </li> <li>Provide culturally and linguistically appropriate information to the population served by the Marketplace. </li> <li>Participate in all trainings, updates, webinars, and forums necessary to carry out responsibilities. </li> <li>Mandated to meet annual Marketplace Facilitated Enroller (MFE) recertification requirements. </li> <li>Keep abreast of all industry and regulatory updates related to the ACA and Marketplace. </li> <li>Maintain discretion regarding business‑related files, reports, and conversations per State and Federal statutes and regulations. </li> </ul> <h3>Tactical Tasks </h3> <ul> <li>Maintain daily tracking tool for detailed representative activity. </li> <li>Monitor all applications in personal dashboard to ensure timely and accurate follow‑through. </li> <li>Conduct daily review of personal dashboard to address potential leads. </li> <li>Maintain consistent supply of educational and product collateral. </li> <li>Keep abreast of Marketplace functionalities to manage individual accounts. </li> <li>Record all follow‑up dispositions in the lead management program in a timely and accurate manner. </li> <li>Data‑enter applicant demographic, enrollment site, and PCP selection data in the enrollment program at initial encounter. </li> <li>Compliance with all conflict‑of‑interest standards and regulations. </li> <li>Other tasks as required to satisfy role expectations. </li> <li>Required to work evenings and weekends. </li> </ul> <h3>Required Education, Training &amp; Professional Experience </h3> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or GED. </li> <li>Minimum of three (3) years of sales experience. </li> <li>Prior public speaking experience. </li> </ul> <h3>Licensure &amp; Certification </h3> <ul> <li>Complete and pass NY State of Health approved training program and become certified. </li> <li>Annual recertification as an MFE. </li> </ul> <h3>Professional Competencies </h3> <ul> <li>Integrity and Trust </li> <li>Customer Focus </li> <li>Functional/Technical skills </li> <li>Written/Oral Communication </li> </ul> <h3>Seniority level </h3> <p>Mid‑Senior level </p> <h3>Employment type </h3> <p>Full‑time </p> <h3>Job function </h3> <p>Sales and Business Development </p> <p>Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at MetroPlusHealth by 2x. </p> <p>Get notified about new Salesperson jobs in Brooklyn, NY. </p> <h3>Additional Locations &amp; Salary Ranges </h3> <ul> <li>Brooklyn, NY – $28.00–$30.00 (1 month ago) </li> <li>Manhattan, NY – $60,000.00–$65,000.00 (1 week ago) </li> <li>Queens, NY – $80,000.00–$180,000.00 (1 month ago) </li> <li>Hillside, NJ – $52,000.00–$125,000.00 (2 months ago) </li> <li>Hackensack, NJ – $86,905.00–$114,845.00 (1 week ago) </li> </ul> <p></p> #J-18808-Ljbffr
