The way we share ideas, learning, experiences, successes, and joy allows everyone to be their best at Ascendion. </p><p><strong>About the Role: </strong> </p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities: </strong> </p><ul><li>BS in Computer Science, a similar field of study, or comparable work experience </li><li>3–5 years of professional experience in software development </li><li>Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages such as Java </li><li>Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals including algorithms, data structures, and object-oriented design </li><li>Experience building and maintaining scalable services, APIs, or front-end applications </li><li>Familiarity with software development lifecycle processes including CI/CD and automated testing </li><li>Experience in Object-oriented programming and component-based development </li><li>Experience with SQL and relational database design/development </li><li>Understanding of Agile software development methodologies </li><li>Experience programming with Java in professional setting </li><li>Experience with Maven, Junit, Angular, Spring Boot, and IntelliJ IDE </li><li>Experience with Distributed Systems, SOAP API design, and Apache Kafka </li><li>Experience with Eclipse or Visual Studio Code IDE's, various plug-ins, Maven, Nexus </li><li>Experience with Git, branching, and merge requests/pull requests </li><li>Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automation, security and monitoring </li> </ul><p><strong>Location: Bellevue, WA/ Greater Seattle Area </strong> </p><p><strong>Salary Range: </strong>The salary for this position is between $70000 – $ annually.
