Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) - School-Based Assessments

The Lighthouse ABA's School Services department is looking for a BCBA to join our team conducting assessments for students receiving DOE-funded, in-school ABA services. This is a highly visible, clinically rich role for a BCBA who wants to make a direct, measurable impact on students' access to services.<br />What You'll Do<br />* Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs), Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), and skills assessments for students in school settings<br />* Travel to NYC schools and clients' homes for in-person observation and assessment sessions<br />* Serve as an expert witness, testifying at Impartial Hearings as needed<br />* Collaborate closely with parents, the School Services team, RBTs, and case managers to translate assessment findings into actionable recommendations<br />* Prepare clear, well-organized assessment reports suitable for DOE review and Impartial Hearing documentation<br />What We're Looking For<br />* Current BCBA certification (required)<br />* Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) in New York State (required)<br />* Based in, or able to reliably travel throughout, the NYC area<br />* Experience within the NYC DOE system - familiarity with DOE processes, clearances, and school-based service delivery strongly preferred<br />* Comfort and willingness to testify at Impartial Hearings<br />* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to write reports and testify clearly under scrutiny<br />Why The Lighthouse ABA<br />* Competitive compensation<br />* A strong, experienced clinical team providing support and mentorship<br />* The chance to directly influence student outcomes through DOE-funded services<br />* Meaningful, high-impact clinical work at the intersection of ABA and education advocacy<br />Interested candidates should apply directly or reach out to learn more about this opportunity.<br />Powered by JazzHR<br />Compensation details: 100-120 Hourly Wage<br /><br />PI4c5be1c23ac
