Qualifications:<br />~ Education: Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (D.P.M.) degree.<br />~ Licensure: Active Texas podiatry license (TDLR).<br />~ Experience: Minimum 3 years of clinical podiatry experience.<br />~ Certifications: Valid CPR certification.<br />~ Technical Skills: Proficiency in diagnosing and treating foot|ankle conditions.<br />~ Soft Skills: Strong communication, patient education, and compliance with facility policies. Key Responsibilities:<br />~ Provide face-to-face evaluation and treatment of referred residents for podiatric conditions.<br />~ Treat a range of disorders, including, but not limited to:<br />~ Bunions<br />~ Calluses and Corns<br />~ Fungal Nails<br />~ Foot and Ankle Fractures<br />~ Gout<br />~ Heel Pain<br />~ Ingrown Toenails<br />~ Conduct monthly on-site clinics; schedule determined in coordination with AuSSLC upon contract award.<br />~ See an average of 20 patients per month.<br />~ Provide staff and caregiver education on foot care, proper shoe fitting, and maintenance of foot health.<br />~ Review medical histories provided by the facility to guide treatment decisions.<br />~ Maintain compliance with HIPAA and all applicable policies and procedures of the facility.<br />~ Services may be required on state skeleton crew holidays, but not on fully closed state holidays.<br />~ Participate in a mandatory two-week orientation and training prior to initiating clinical services.<br />~ Respond to emergency service requests within one hour, if applicable.</div><br />#J-18808-Ljbffr
