Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.</p><h3>Base pay range</h3><p>$45.00/hr - $55.00/hr</p><p><b>Location: </b>Hybrid in Boston 1-2 days on site minimum, remaining days remote</p><p><b>Schedule:</b> 40 hours/week (9AM-5PM EST)</p><p><b>Duration: </b>3 Months, likely not to extend further</p><p><b>Rate Range: </b>$45-$55 per hour based on your experience level</p><p><b>Timeline for Hire:</b> 1-2 interviews, getting started within the next ~3 weeks ideally</p><h3>Position Overview</h3><p>Our client, an international footwear brand, is seeking a Global Retail Architectural Designer to join their team on a parental leave contract (~3 months). The Global Retail Architectural Designer will support in the creation and implementation of retail concepts through strong design, visualization and presentation skills.</p><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Assist Design Team in the creation, adaptation and refinement of retail concepts and environmental components.</li><li>Design new fixture elements to solve various consumer and market driven needs.</li><li>Document design direction for communication to partners such as architects and fixture manufacturers.</li><li>Develop 3D visualization of designs to effectively communicate ideas and design intent.</li><li>Develop store designs via standard documentation methods such as floor plans, elevations and sections.</li><li>Research relevant examples of retail, art and design to compile creative vision inspiration.</li><li>Research specifications such as materials, lighting and furniture</li><li>Collaborate closely with Store Planning team to support execution of retail environments.</li><li>Work cross-functionally with Visual Merchandising, Marketing and Digital internal partners as needed</li><li>Coordinate with external partners for development and production of fixtures and design elements.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.</li><li>Proven experience in retail design, with a strong portfolio showcasing previous projects.</li><li>Proficiency in design software, particularly Sketchup, Adobe Creative Suite, and AutoCAD.</li><li>Strong understanding of architectural principles and retail space functionality.</li><li>Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.</li></ul><p>We are looking forward to your application!</p><h3>Seniority level</h3><p>Mid-Senior level</p><h3>Employment type</h3><p>Contract</p><h3>Job function</h3><p>Design and Art/Creative</p><h3>Industries</h3><p>Retail Apparel and Fashion</p><p>Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Creative Circle by 2x</p><p>Get notified about new Architectural Designer jobs in <b>Boston, MA</b>.</p></div><br />#J-18808-Ljbffr
