Quantitative Developer - Energy

<div><p>We are looking for an exceptional Quantitative Developer to join our expanding Energy Desk.</p><br /><p>In this role, you will work between the Research and Trading desks, and the Engineering team to ensure the successful leveraging of tooling and reporting for the Desk.</p><br /><h3>Your future role within Q-TX</h3><br /><ul><br /><li>Collaborate with researchers and traders to develop tools, statistical models, and reports for energy supply and demand analysis.</li><br /><li>Translate complex market dynamics into actionable insights using robust quantitative methods.</li><br /><li>Work closely with global technology teams to leverage Q-TX systems and cloud platforms for scalable and maintainable solutions.</li><br /><li>Monitor and support desk tools to ensure reliability, usability, and long-term effectiveness.</li><br /></ul><br /><h3>Your present skillset</h3><br /><ul><br /><li>Minimum of 4 years of experience developing industrial-strength, mission-critical Python code.</li><br /><li>Experience with cloud platforms (AWS) is a plus.</li><br /><li>Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a global team.</li><br /><li>Strong design and software engineering skills for clean, maintainable solutions.</li><br /><li>Familiarity with power or energy markets is preferred.</li><br /><li>Rigorous, analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills.</li><br /><li>Ability to manage multiple priorities and communicate effectively with stakeholders.</li><br /></ul></div><br />#J-18808-Ljbffr
