Senior Software Engineer

You’ll collaborate closely with quantitative researchers, traders and other engineers to design, develop and optimise sophisticated trading infrastructure.</p><p>Your work could span everything from ultra-low-latency systems and market connectivity to distributed services, data infrastructure and performance-critical applications.</p><h3>What You’ll Do</h3><ul><li>Design, develop and maintain high-performance software in modern C++</li><li>Build reliable, scalable systems operating in demanding, real-time environments</li><li>Profile and optimise code for latency, throughput and efficiency</li><li>Work closely with quantitative researchers and traders to translate ideas into production systems</li><li>Investigate complex technical problems and develop robust solutions</li><li>Contribute to system architecture, engineering practices and technical direction</li><li>Review code and share knowledge with other engineers</li><li>Continuously explore new technologies and approaches to improve our systems</li></ul><h3>What We’re Looking For</h3><ul><li>Strong professional experience developing software in C++</li><li>Excellent understanding of software engineering fundamentals, data structures and algorithms</li><li>Experience building performance-critical, concurrent or distributed systems</li><li>Strong problem-solving and analytical skills</li><li>Experience working with Linux and modern development tooling</li><li>A passion for writing clean, efficient and maintainable code</li><li>The ability to communicate clearly and work effectively in a highly collaborative environment</li></ul><p>Experience in areas such as low-latency systems, networking, operating systems, compilers, distributed systems or financial technology would be advantageous, but is not essential.</p></div><br />#J-18808-Ljbffr
