<div><h3>Senior Data Analyst – New York State Unified Court System</h3><br /><p>Join the New York State Unified Court System as a Senior Data Analyst. We are recruiting for one (1) position for the Court Research Data Team within the Office of Court Administration, Division of Technology and Court Research.</p><br /><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><br /><ul><br /><li>Define project scope and make strategic decisions on data architecture and implementation.</li><br /><li>Design logical and physical data models to support efficient querying and reporting.</li><br /><li>Develop and optimize SQL queries for performance and scalability.</li><br /><li>Transform and wrangle large datasets to support operational and analytical needs.</li><br /><li>Create meaningful reports and dashboards using SSRS and other tools.</li><br /><li>Document technical processes, data structures, and reporting logic clearly and thoroughly.</li><br /><li>Collaborate with internal teams to ensure data accuracy and usability.</li><br /></ul><br /><h3>Required Experience</h3><br /><ul><br /><li>Advanced proficiency in SQL and experience with data modeling.</li><br /><li>Demonstrated ability to work with large datasets and optimize data workflows.</li><br /><li>Experience designing data structures that support efficient reporting and analysis.</li><br /><li>Experience with SSRS or similar reporting platforms.</li><br /><li>Strong technical writing skills for documentation and communication.</li><br /></ul><br /><h3>Preferred Experience</h3><br /><ul><br /><li>Background in data governance, public policy, or government.</li><br /></ul><br /><h3>Qualifications</h3><br /><p>One year in the Management Analyst title; or Master’s degree in Public or Business Administration from an accredited college or university and four (4) years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
