<p><b>Data Engineer / Analyst<br /></b><b>Location:</b> Remote (US)<br /><b>Type:</b> Contract, through December 2026 (40 hrs/week)<br /><b>Employment:</b> W2 only. Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.</p><br /><h3>About the Role</h3><br /><p>A large healthcare organization is looking for a Data Engineer / Analyst to build and maintain the data pipelines, reports, and dashboards behind its key departmental metrics. A main focus of this role is moving existing SSIS ETL pipelines to Posit and R. You'll work across IT and business teams to turn data into analysis that drives decisions.</p><br /><h3>What You'll Do</h3><br /><ul><br /><li>Migrate existing SSIS ETL pipelines to Posit and R</li><br /><li>Design and develop ETL processes, stored procedures, functions, and views using SQL Server and Toad</li><br /><li>Oversee the creation and daily running of mission-critical departmental reporting</li><br /><li>Translate business needs into data elements across Access databases and data marts to source, extract, and transform data for reporting</li><br /><li>Build and maintain dashboards and data sources in Tableau and other reporting tools</li><br /><li>Perform exploratory data analysis, data cleansing, and data visualization</li><br /><li>Identify and document root causes of trends, issues, and performance gaps, and present findings and recommendations to stakeholders</li><br /></ul><br /><h3>Required Qualifications</h3><br /><ul><br /><li>3+ years of data engineering or data analytics experience</li><br /><li>Strong SQL Server experience, including stored procedures, functions, and views</li><br /><li>Experience with R and Posit (RStudio)</li><br /><li>Experience building dashboards in Tableau or similar reporting tools</li><br /><li>Experience with Microsoft Access databases and Toad</li><br /><li>Ability to present analyses and explain business impact to stakeholders</li><br /><li>Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience</li><br /></ul><br /><h3>Preferred Qualifications</h3><br /><ul><br /><li>Experience migrating ETL pipelines from SSIS to R-based or other modern platforms</li><br /></ul><br /><p>We champion equality and inclusivity, proudly supporting an Equal Opportunity Employer policy.
