Using reliable, proven technology in an innovative plant design configuration, Venture Global’s modular, mid-scale plant design will replace traditional designs as it allows for the same efficiency and operational reliability at significantly lower capital cost.</p><p>We are seeking qualified applicants for the position:</p><p>Specialist, Procurement</p><p>Located:</p><p>Houston</p><b>Summary</b><p>We are seeking an experienced Specialist, Procurement to join us within the Procurement function in Houston, TX. This person is responsible and accountable for the procurement of third-party goods and services for Calcasieu Pass LNG Operations.</p><b>General Description Duties &amp; Responsibilities</b><ul><li>Independently conducts RFx and bidding processes, specifically for spare parts, minimizing risk and maximizing value in terms of quality, delivery and cost.</li><li>Execute sourcing plans that secure supply and minimize disruptions.</li><li>Utilize sourcing best practices to efficiently and effectively lead initiatives.</li><li>Performs contract administration, which includes creating and modifying purchase order and contract documents; adjusting, cancelling and/or closing transactions in SAP and Coupa.</li><li>Assist stakeholders in scope of work development.</li><li>Effectively communicates with and maintains relationships with internal stakeholders.</li><li>Challenges stakeholders when inefficiencies, process deviations, and strategy deviations are identified.</li><li>Monitors supplier and contract activity and identifies areas for improved cost savings.</li></ul><b>Qualifications</b><b>Required experience</b><ul><li>Minimum of five years supply chain experience in the oil and gas industry; Experience in LNG liquefaction facilities highly preferred.</li><li>Extensive experience using SAP.</li><li>Self-starter with ability to work strategically under little direction.</li><li>Ability to build relationships and in engage with stakeholders across the organization.</li><li>Strong knowledge of maintenance practices and operations processes.</li><li>Ability to work collaboratively with other teammates and other functions.</li></ul><b>Required Education</b><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, engineering or related discipline.</li></ul><p>Venture Global LNG is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
