Senior Application Developer

<p>The Application Developer will be responsible for the design, development and maintenance of custom enterprise applications utilized by the business in support of achieving objectives.</p><br /><h3>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</h3><br /><ul><br /><li>Architect, design, and lead the development of custom enterprise applications.</li><br /><li>Set the technical direction for projects, ensuring that all development efforts align with organizational goals and industry best practices.</li><br /><li>Serve as a technical expert within the department, providing strategic input on emerging technologies and tools.</li><br /><li>Lead cross-functional teams in the development and deployment of sophisticated application solutions.</li><br /><li>Manage the full application development lifecycle, from initial concept to production deployment and maintenance.</li><br /><li>Drive the continuous improvement of development processes, tools, and standards within the team.</li><br /><li>Engage with stakeholders at all levels to gather requirements, define project scope, and ensure the successful delivery of applications.</li><br /><li>Provide leadership, mentorship, and training to Level I and II developers, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and innovation.</li><br /></ul><br /><h3>Supervisory Responsibility</h3><br /><p>This role may have some mentoring and training required for junior and mid-level developers.</p><br /><h3>Required Qualifications</h3><br /><ul><br /><li>Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.</li><br /><li>Seven or more (7+) years of experience in application development, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects. An equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered.</li><br /><li>Extensive experience with the Microsoft Azure platform, including architecture and design.</li><br /><li>Strong leadership and project management skills, with experience leading large teams.</li><br /><li>Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.</li><br /><li>A deep understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and DevOps practices.</li><br /><li>Commitment to staying current with industry trends and emerging technologies.</li><br /><li><b>Preferred location El Paso TX or Las Cruces NM.</b></li><br /></ul><br />#J-18808-Ljbffr
