Business Analyst

<p>Texas GovLink, Inc. is an Austin-based firm which has been a leading provider of technical and business professionals to clients in Texas. We are currently seeking an experienced <b>Business Analyst</b> to be a key resource on a technical services team.</p><h3>Work Location:</h3><p>Onsite.</p><p>Candidates must be local to Austin, TX**</p><h3>Responsibilities</h3><p>Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business systems and user needs. Formulates systems to parallel overall business strategies. Experienced with business process reengineering and identifying new applications of technology to business problems to make business more effective. Familiar with industry standard business process mapping, and reengineering. Prepares solution options, risk Page 6 of 43 identification, and financial analyses such as cost/benefit, ROI, buy/build, etc. Writes detailed description of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer programs.</p><h3>Qualifications</h3><h3>7 years of:</h3><ul><li>Experience in the field or in a related area as a senior Business Analyst (Technical).</li><li>Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures.</li></ul><h3>2 years of:</h3><ul><li>Experience as a data analyst analyzing raw data using Excel, Tableau, etc.</li></ul><h3>Preferred (Optional):</h3><ul><li>Experience with one or more Texas state agencies.</li></ul><h3>Company Overview</h3><p>Texas GovLink offers its family of consultants excellent rates, a local support staff, and an attractive benefits package which includes</p><ul><li>medical insurance (TGL shares a percentage of the cost)</li><li>life insurance</li><li>matching 401(k) plan</li><li>cafeteria plan</li></ul><p>Candidates selected for interview will be required to undergo criminal background checks and may be required to complete a drug screen in accordance with Federal and State Law.
